Matt, I hate to say this, but have you tried putting it on ebay? Over the years I have had GREAT luck selling my Special Service Vehicles, and others on ebay. I would immagine you would have the same luck, your english is good (unlike mose ebay sellers) and you have many pictures. More pictures get you more money on ebay. It would probably cost you less than $100 and it would be gone in 7 to 10 days... or less!

If they dont do any thing to remidy the problem, try flitz, the stuff does some wild mericales for scratches. Its a wax/polish. It does good things on most surfaces. I use it on my alloy wheeles to shine em up. and it will alos take the hard water dots off of your windows with a light scotchbrite pad. never would have beleaved it if it wasnt for the free sample.

I'll give ya $800 by paypal if you'll box em up. I'll even send ya the UPS call tags so all you need to do is call 800 pickups and tell them to come and get them. I'd need to know box size and weight. Also any time you post a reply I have a hard time reading the post... your avatar... it screwes with my ability to read... boing...boing...boing...boing...

What is the benifit of having enging covers? Looks? I can't imagine they are any better, they would keep heat on the engine.

I say you should post it on ebay, autotrader and Cars.com I have sold 2 trucks on ebay, bought one jeep from ebay, and bought two trucks from cars.com... another one that is good (and free) is craigslist.

Mike your worries are justified, one of the main reasons that i have never done this mod to any of my trucks is that when it gets cold out side here (in New Hampshire), if you have a lower temp stat, your heat will take longer to come up, or not get as hot because the coolant is colder. If i lived in the mid west/south I would be quick to jump on this one, it's easy cheap ponies.

I saw a guy who on GMTC that wrote "just doing this to get to my 5 so i can sell something" it pissed me off... Of course when i joined you didnt have to do any of that sh*t. The killer now is that I have friends that want to join forums and cant b/c they use yahoo, msn, or other free e-mail services and they are locked from registering with them.

Congrats, That is one habit I'm glad I never started, Never smoked or dipped. My dad (who used to smoke) and I have talked about it several times over the years, and he always brings up the night mares he used to have, and apparently still does occasionally, that he had started smoking again. I have a well funded food and toy addiction. I haven't brought lunch any where since before i was in high school... and boy do i have allot of shit... all funded by not smoking... again , CONGRATS FOR QUITTING. also I'm happy for the rest of you guys. I wish I could get two of my best friends to quit. I don't harp on them though it is their decision.

I found those last week and posted them on GMTC. I'm thinking about getting one. The only down side any one has brought up was that it is metal, and will stay hotter longer.

even at $200 for three the price is still good, the GM OEM ones list at $85 EACH and thats for the brushed ones.

That is the part number but you WILL NOT find these though any gm place in chrome only brushed. sorry, i'm not trying to high jack your thread.... Why is that? What comes stock on an SS?

While I'm Bummed that I didn't get the score you did on them , I think it's great that you are being entrepreneurial. If you can make a buck, go for it. I'm not sure if I asked you this or not, are these GM part number 15178666? I'm impressed how much people are willing to pay for them too...
