When I had my D1 pro charger I upgraded my tranny first and it lasted around 30,000 miles before It broke so I built that as far as I could go with it ,it lasted 2000 miles and then it broke again and then I rebuilt it and then it broke after 400 miles so I went to an 80 but I was running 15 pounds of boost, I would definitely do the tranny first!

Sounds like a good time and not far from me,plus I have a turbo cobalt ss,maybe the wife can have fun top!

I got all of my fittings from frozenboost.com,because they offered the teflon coated fuel lines that you need for E85 and all the compatible fittings,and from what I have seen the prices are VERY competitive! Best of luck on your fuel system,I will be subscribing.

Well I talked to donny today over the phone and he told me my tank would be done tomorrow and he would ship it on monday,he also said that he would send me some pics of it tomorrow too,so hopefully all this drama will be over with! I will keep you guys posted!

Well I hate to say this but I paid for my ice box on Feb 27 and Donnie said it would be three weeks until it was done........................Well,I still don't have my tank,I have recieved no progress reports or pics and he hasn't responded to my last 2 emails!? 3 emails ago he responded after a week and said my email went to his spam folder and he didn't notice it but my tank would be done that friday and shipped out,that was over 2 weeks ago!!! I hate to bash on people but I am really getting pissed off about this! If anyone here knows Donnie personally please let him know I am getting worried about this transaction and he obviously isn't getting my emails or is ignoring them! This is one of the final things needed to finish my truck and it is kind of setting me back a bit. Worst of all I didn't order some run of the mill ice tank,it is a $450 dollar piece and right now it looks as if I am getting screwed! If it shows up I will post pics and probably do business with him again,but I am a little skeptical right now!

This was also one of the first mods I did to my truck and I loved the results! It even held up to over 30,000 miles of abuse with a D1 procharger and 2 broken tranny's,the second of which had so much metal in the converter and trans that i didn't feel comfortable using it again,moral of the story,if it breaks the trans shut it down right away! otherwise you can contaminate everything with metal parts! Mine actually stalled to 2700-2800.

Donny is currently making the ice tank for my truck,should be done any time now. He is doing an almost 10 gallon ice tank with a tranny cooler mounted in it.I will get pics up when it gets here!

Chase, have you looked at having it all powder coated black chrome? It will give you the blacked out look but still retain some eye popping shine to it! I have been considering doing this to my truck for a while,it looks really good in my opinion!

Do this,Grind the washer looking part off of your balancer bolt so that it fits into the hole of the balancer,so the balancer can pass over it while you pull it off with the 3 jaw puller! You will have to grind the bolt until all thats left is the actual head of the bolt and the whole washer looking part is gone,then you can pull it right off! really easy this way! and then keep the bolt around in case you need to do it again some time!

Congrats! It sure is a great feeling to pay it off,I remember how happy I was! Now if I could get my mortgage paid like chase said.......................Probably not! HaHa,the wife would just want another one that would probably cost me more!

Good info Mr P,and I will add-get a 3.85 pulley,that should make you happy and get 10-12 psi,and have zippy do the tune,he can do these in his sleep! when he originally did my D1 mail order tune it fired and ran perfect and clicked off high 12's in the 1/4 the same day!

I have ridden in Chris's truck and there was no drone at speed at all,and his truck went 12.6 in the 1/4,even with all that heavy audio stuff in it! but he does have a built motor and a procharger!

It looked like the truck in the video had the DRL's and turn signals done,I didn't want to convert my DRL's to turn signals I just wanted rid of the amber look and to add these turn signals to replace mine. I should have specified! By the way Chase,I love the new avatar!!!! While he may not be a role model or upstanding citizen,Charlie Sheen is my F'n HERO. If I could be anyone for a day it would be him,he does what he wants and really don't give a sh*t what anyone else thinks! I will miss him on 2 1/2 men tho! WINNER!!!!

Chris (fast4popper) has aerochamber mufflers on his truck and it sounds pretty good,not all that loud but a nice tone,if loud is what you want do magnaflow!

These look pretty cool,it says 6k white(which is the same heat range as my HID's) so I wonder if it will match well on mine? I hate my amber DRL's!
