The Black Bra (as told by a woman)
I had lunch with 2 of my unmarried friends. One is engaged, one is a mistress, and I have been married for 20+ years.
We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by greeting them at the door wearing a black bra, stiletto heels and a mask over our eyes. We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes.
Here's how it all went.
My engaged friend:
The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask.
He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.' Then we made passionate love all night long.
The mistress:
Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing a raincoat, under it only the black bra, heels and
mask over my eyes. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but he started to tremble and we had wild sex all night.
Then I had to share my story:
When my husband came home I was wearing the black bra, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.
When he came in the door and saw me he said......,
(you are going to love this…..

I just got my Firebird tuned and running, I was just test driving it and that dam gaurdrail and bridge jumped out in front of me
There was a news report that said the weren't sure if speed played a role Um well I'm no rocket scientist but
Shouldn't have used that Toyota gas pedal assembly on the Firebird.
WOW...lots of feathers everywhere

Her Diary:
Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment of it. Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong; he said "Nothing". I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me,and not to worry about it. On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior I don't why he didn't say, "I love you too". When we got home, I felt as I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent. Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.
His Diary:
Boat wouldn't start today. Can't figure it out, but at least I got laid.

Did the range selector work before the swap?
Check the wiring on the range selector. Make sure wires didn't get pinched between the block and the bellhousing as it runs up and over the bellhousing. Check the pigtails make sure the glue they use isn't down inside any of the terminals.

There are two different harnesses listed.
24234280 fits the van
24241215 fits the truck
Keep in mind that although they may have the same number of wires and you did move one, that the wires may not go to control the same things although the wires are in the same positions from harness to harness (Engineering job security).
Do you have a scanner to see the computer command the solenoids or to manually command the solenoids? Are there any DTCs stored? Trans adapts cleared? Will it shift manually through the gears?
It sounds as though the problem is electrical. Maybe, maybe not
-
Bob,
Anything happening with this?
-
I'm doing this from memory so bear with me.
IIRC there are differences between '99 &'04 transmission wiring harnesses, number of wires and pin placement. My suggestion is to take the internal wiring harness from the '99 trans and use it in the '04 tranny. You can get the harness out without damaging it but be careful.
Once you get the transmission wiring to match the wiring on the truck it should work. There may be a difference in the solenoids and the way the pigtail plugs in to them located at the front of the tranny by the bellhousing. You should be able to swap from the old tranny to the new one if needed. Other solenoids are the same.
Hope this helps
