Well tranny issue is fixed. Just had to reprogram computer, but now the idle surges... If it's not one thing it's another...

I have a question that I hope when answerd is a cheep fix. I am having a issue with my 03 SS. It appears that my torque converter or maybe a solenoid is messing up. When I let off the gas it stays at about 1200 RPM's and acts like a cruise control. If I hit the breaks it still pushes. If I shift to neutral then it idles down to about 800 RPM's seams like the tranny is staying engaged to engine causing the higher idle when coasting. I had a issue like this on a Grand Am and it was a solenoid that was bad. Is there such a critter on the SS or could torque converter be shot? The only mods to tranny is the Shift kit. I wanted to get some ideas before I try and deal with the dealership because of already having been inside the tranny.

Finally at the 3rd dealer I found the exact color Z71 Avalanche I was looking for. I saw the SS at the first 2 dealers and didn't even look inside. Thanks to my girlfriend she said that she liked the red SS and she wanted to look inside.. Well I never did look inside the Avalanche. I test drove the Red SS and bought the Black SS same day. Glad I didn't leave her at home that day!!!!

Well as for the shop I wish I could claim it. Its my friends . We put it up last summer with 3 of us. Its 60'x100' took us about 3 months of weekends to do it. Since I have time invested I always have a spot in it. We hope to have several lifts installed by the end of this summer. Taking the calipers off did make good results but I should have read up on the bleeding of a ABS system. We tried using a air bleeder device that works well but, took 3 hours to get brakes back. Found out next day there was something we were to do to the ABS box under floor board before bleeding. Total project time took about 8 hours . I put like 5 coats of Red and 2 clear on them. And for the CBR , I love it. It is my first street legal bike. I cant believe the power this thing has. It will also make it to the track this summer after I get a steering stabilizer.
