I just put a BW4481 in my SS. I’m just now doing the research after the fact. My np149 was no good and I’m in a desperate situation and had to do something fast. Found a transmission guru 100 miles away, drive to him and paid 1600 for a brand new BW4481 installed on my Silverado SS in drives fine but the rear drives shaft is a tight fit. Tomorrow I’m having it cut back a couple inches to give it proper play. Am I screwing up here? Tell me I’m a be alright! Lol
