  1. Thats ok Dave, I don't hate you any more than I did before....... Actually I have to order the bumper stripe from GM because it is a special White Pearl Color that I cannot get. You don't know how much it pisses me off that I have to pay $85.00 for what I know is a $3.00 piece of vinyl. Are you building anything for the SEMA Show this year?
  2. I didn't know that. My '94 Corvette is there now. It is a Black Rose Hardtop Convertible with Side Exhaust. We were in late Sunday and out of there as soon as the storm blew past Monday morning. Stopped at the Speedway for some pics and we were on the road home by 2:45 Monday. 11 hours on the road each way. We are seriously thinking about coming out for the race next year since it will be the 100th Anniversary.
  3. There are a few Numbered cars on ebay right now and even more of the standard "Dealer Replica" cars that were not at the track.
  4. I was looking to possibly buy a 2010 Pace Car. I kind of forgot about it until the week before the race. The Wednesday before the Race I sent a text message to a friend that was out at Indy for the race. I told him I was looking to buy a Pace Car Replica, and asked if he could maybe talk to one of his connections at GM for me. I did not get an answer immediately, and after a week or so went by after the race, I assumed nothing was going to happen. I started my own search for a Pace Car. I found multiple cars on Cars.com at dealerships and a few on ebay. None of these were numbered Festival or Parade Cars. I tried to buy one from a dealer in Texas, but after getting the double talk about what my trade was worth, I decided to abort that deal. I talked to Becky at Rodgers, and told me she had a line on another one for me. She went above and beyond trying to help, but again, nobody (their Used car manager or wholesaler) ever wants to put proper money into a trade, so that deal was off as well. It was around this time I learned of the Numbered Festival/Parade Cars. I located a few and while I was very close to closing a deal on car #17, I received a phone call from Craig at GM Performance DIvision. He is an Engineering Group Manager for Chevy and their group is responsible for the Pace Car Program. He proceeds to tell me my friend called him during the race weekend and personally asked for them to set me up with a car, and they have one set aside for me. I was given the name of the Regional Sales manager of Chevrolet for the Indianapolis area, and he directed me to the person that is in charge of distributing the Festival/Parade Cars. At this time, I still do not know where the car is or if it is a Dealer Car or a Festival Car. I was directed to get in touch with Bill Estes Chevrolet in Indianapolis. Upon calling them, I got hooked up with Damon Smith who is their ebay/Internet Sales Manager. He made a few phone calls and called me back. He proceeds to tell me the car is still at the Speedway and is in fact a Festival Car #45 with 1831 miles on it. I cannot believe this is happening! Shortly thereafter, he sends me an email stating this car has my name on it, and I can have it delivered through any Chevrolet Dealership I choose and that I am to be treated as a VIP. If they did not make the deal I wanted, I could go to a different dealership. I told him I had a trade, and that I wanted to pay invoice for the Camaro and the amount I wanted for the trade. 1/2 Hour later I get a call back saying everything is fine, when do I want to pick it up? He then went to the Speedway and proceeded to make a video of the car for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em0f2QYHXOE I proceeded to make arrangements to trailer my '94 Corvette Trade 625 miles to Indianapolis and bring #45 home. We drove out Sunday 6/20. Left Allentown PA at 10 AM and arrived at the dealership at 9 PM. Unloaded the Vette and crashed at a Red Roof Inn across the street. Got up Monday morning, went to the dealership and picked up #45. Stopped at the Speedway on the way home and took some pics in front of the Museum. Some pics of the car........ Oh, I almost forgot, a HUGE THANKS to my friend that set this up for me. The worlds Greatest Race Car Driver Ever, and one of the nicest people I have had the honor to meet..........And the '69 Indy 500 Champion!!!! The one and Only...Mario Andretti!
  5. I will probably be there Saturday, but with a Different SS............ I picked this up in Indianapolis on Monday. It is one of 200 Pace Car Replicas made for this years Indy 500 and one of only 50 that did time on the track and in other festivities during the month of May in Indy.
  6. Hey guess what? I am buying a new Camaro Monday!! Driving to Indianapolis to pick it up.

  7. You know what is really funny about this..... It is the same thing that is on your Avalanche in your Sig pic....... I know the comment was made 5 years ago when you had your SS, but kind of ironic now isn't it?
  8. We can talk before that weekend and maybe drive down together. (That is if you think you can keep up with me!)
  9. They look like American Racing RT-S wheels and they have been discontinued for a couple years now.
  10. That is actually a 2007 and newer Escalade Steering wheel. The 2006 and older are different and the Airbags are different too.
  11. I am a maybe depending on the weather and if I get the New Camaro Pace car I am looking at right now. If I buy the Camaro, I might take that down instead of the SS.
  12. Only if I can purchase a spare set of new ones before I remove them.
  13. Looking at a 2010 Camaro Pace Car replica. One of only 200 built. Getting a hell of a deal on the car and a great price for my trade. Inferno Orange with White Pearl Stripes and Orange Interior Accent package. The car is in Texas and I am probably going to trade my 1994 Z28 with 8,600 miles on it. If I get the right number, I will trade my '94 Vette too. I should have final numbers tomorrow. Some of these are pics of the actual Pace Car, but the production car is identical except for the lights in the rear window. For the fourth time in the history of the Camaro, GM will sell a replica of a Camaro Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. The last time Chevy offered a replica of the pace car was in 1993. Fittingly, Chevrolet plans to build a total of 500 units with up to 200 of those to be made available through 187 of the top-selling Camaro dealers based on 2009 retail sales. The limited production replica is based on the Camaro 2SS model with the RS appearance package and a 400HP V8 paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, but adds some extra features unique to the actual pace car to be driven by Robin Roberts, anchor of "Good Morning America," during the this year's Indianapolis 500. Available exclusively in 'Inferno Orange' with full body white pearl decal rally stripes, the replica comes with 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, an Inferno Orange heritage front grille and engine cover, special floor mats with accent colors and 2010 Indianapolis 500 event logos on the front fenders, the door panels and embroidered on driver and passenger headrests.
  14. 285/45/22 fills the wheel openings nice with a 3" drop. That is what I have been running. Same tires, same drop.
  15. Both pics are of the same Camaro. More Camaro pics here.... http://www.ridergraphix.com/customers/Camaro_Gallery.html
  16. Ridergraphix.com in Restyling Magazines Restyling Awards..... Just received this info earlier today. This is the Third Year in a Row we have been mentioned in the Industry Magazine "Restyling" for our Graphix Designs. Check it out here...... http://www.restylingmag.com/article/get-lo...-restyled-rides
  17. I don't know why people can't read the ad. It says it had a different interior and gauges installed. It is very common for a truck like this to be stolen and all the SS Specific items stripped off it. Those are the valuable parts that everyone wants and are hard to get. This auction is for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado SS sport truck. This is a real silverado ss. I bought this truck at an auction, but it runs and drives great. It has the 6.0 liter vortec v8 and is all wheel drive. It is powerful and responsive and runs and drives good. It has a great sounding exhaust. The truck is red on bottom and black on top which is a very nice paint scheme on the truck. The truck has 23 inch wheels and tires on it that look good. It has a nice spray in bedliner. The complete original SS leather interior has been removed and replaced with very clean tan cloth interior. The truck needs a little attention on the outside. The front and rear bumpers as well as the tailgate have been removed, along with the ss mouldings that go on the lower part of the truck apparently because someone wanted to put the ss stuff on a regular silverado to make a ss clone. The body of the truck is very straight with a few dings and the paint is clean although there is a key mark down the drivers side and passenger side and hood which seems some of it could be buffed out due to the fact it is not very deep but some parts are deeper. Hood has is dented on the front tip. The odometer will be true mileage unknown because the odometer was taken out and replaced with an odometer from a regular silverado(as well as the interior as stated previously). An auto check was recently pulled and the mileage was around 65,000 with the factory SS cluster. The silverado cluster that was put in this truck says 165k on it but again is not the ss cluster. Has in dash factory cd changer and stereo system but the speakers are missing. Also the airbag light is turned on the dash. Passenger side rearview mirror is missing. This would be the perfect find for someone who can appreciate the type of truck this is and will only need a little work to perfect it. Please feel free to email me with any questions and I will respond in a timely manner. Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. This is a very nice vehicle and anyone who is familiar with the SS will appreciate.
  18. If I remember correctly, when I had PCMforLess tune mine, it was picking up about 32 hp on a stock truck.
  19. I have 13K on mine plus over 10K in mods. I would probably not sell it for $25k if offered.
  20. Are these going to be Cast or Forged wheels? I find it hard to believe that a 22" Cast wheel is only 36#. My 22" Forged Centerlines weigh 37# each.
  21. Make sure you double check the offset and backspacing. The new GMT900 Trucks run a higher offset wheel from the factory by about 1/2". They might stick out more than you really want them to if there is not enough backspacing.
  22. 8th Digit of the VIN is N. That is the code for the LQ9 Vortec 6000. It has to be an SS based on that. There were no other Chevy Trucks that had the LQ9 in 2003.

    New Camaro

    Is it ordered yet?
  24. Anyone see or have the new IMac? I just bought the 27" earlier and I am still getting used to the difference between the Mac and a PC I have used forever. This is my first Mac, hopefully it will be worth the money.
  25. :withstupid: Exactly what I was thinking....
