  1. I'd still take my shiftable transfercase, I still have yet to be impressed by awd setup. I see them as glass. They work ok in cars and suvs but I'd still take a low range t case. The ss is really the only awd truck that I know of. If it was a 1500hd id like probably a little more, but it does what I need it to. I always like to drive around in 2wd, only need 4wd maybe like 1% of the time if not less. The turning circle of anything awd and 4wd is terrible also. I'm still trying to get the ropes of GM, I still think the still between 2007 and 2014 is junk. Iv always been a ford guy for trucks, iv owned a few mopars and I think those are the worst.
  2. I don't think an ss would, but each there own. I'd put money on it my dad's f150 would walk circles around my ss off roading. My buddies newer z71 I'd be willing to bet it would also. A lowred truck with nothing to protect the transmission or t case, little suspension travel. It's a performance truck not an off road truck....
  3. If never been a fan of the electronic 4x4 or auto 4x4, It does make going 4low easier.
  4. Snow is a little different then Off-road. My rsx with snow tires plowed through snow with not problems of getting stuck even my crown vic would...... Take it through mud and I bet it would get stuck. Even with great tires in mud you will get stuck you need ground clearance. Id trade my awd for 4x4.
  5. The truck will just go into emergency mode and it will add more fuel. Could possibly burn the o2 sensors out. If you get cheap headers that don't match how the oem o2 sensor reads it will burn the sensors also. I went through 6 on my 350z before i just went back to oem manifolds

    Exact specs are on tirerack
  7. When I used to be in the Honda game left only a few years ago, a group of low life's had a tow truck. They never did get caught. Seemed like every week somebody's Honda or acura was getting stolen. One had it on camera of two guys stealing a car. Dosent take them long. Theifs know the games if they want it they will get it.
  8. I've seen a few people talk about this now, I google it and it's a internet thing..

    Rims

I see the difference now but honestly I don't think anyone would ever notice, or say anything. Unless they tried to sell them to someone who knew what they were. I still can't get over what the sell for, used forged rims struggle for those prices.

The ugly oem rims go for that?! Wow that's volk / rays wheel money.

    Rims

But you live in la I don't think you'll find ones that actually came off a ss with tires without paying a lot and for shipping. Id sell mine but I don't think you'll pay 1k plus shipping for them with tires that are in great shape.

    Rims

If he wants oem like I said they are on the 07 to 10 Chevy trucks and suvs. http://www.jegs.com/i/OE-Wheels/494/7387703/10002/-1

    Rims

Cheapest if seen them go for new is about 210.25 with free shipping, just gotta look around jegs has them for the price above and they are also on 07 to 10 Chevy trucks and suvs. Nothing special about them chrome plated aluminum 20x8.5 +31mm and iv seen them listed with a +23mm and +27mm. If you're dropping 800+ I'd just go with some good looking aftermarket rims, tire rack is a good starting point.

    Ecu core

I'm able to get a core put of a 4.8, I'm fairly sure it will work for a mail in tune. But I like to know it will work in my ss I'd like to keep my factory ecu and use the one out of the 4.8 for the tune.
