  1. Last bump. I have talked to several people and it seems like unless you have an 03 SS silverado to load the tune into, Diablo is going to charge $100 to update the programer. I will sell for $100. Randy
  2. Maybe I am missing something here. Back in 2003 the predator tuner was a really the hot item and reasonably so. The tune really made my SS feel like a "SS". Randy
  3. Before I traded in my 03 SS last fall I returned it to the stock tune. From what I have read the tuner should be able to tune another SS Silverado. I purchased it from Bay Area Performance. I feel like $200 is a fair price. Randy
  4. I traded in my 03 SS last week for a 07 Charger Daytona. I really liked my SS but I really only used it as a truck maybe 6 times in 4 years. Because of gas prices(this hemi is capable of getting 20+ mpg (although I am only averaging 17 mpg now-lots of hammering it to get it broke in right) and even with mostly 60 mph highway driving I have always averaged 15-16 mpg in my SS) and when I bought my SS I traded in my 2001 Silverado 2wd wich I was at the time even up on loan value which made my payments on my SS $150 more than my payment now in my Charger. If the Camaro would have been out now I wolud most likely have traded for that, but to me the best bang for the buck as far as rearwheel drive v-8 cars is the Charger.I am really going to miss my SS. I wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum for all the good advice because I will admit I have not had the time to help very many people with there concerns, I am mostly a reader to get info for myself. Thanks everyone for such a great forum, Randy
  5. It will start being very jerky up and down. I new somthing was not right when I set my cruise acording to the speedo on a highway I drive everyday and the normal 45 MPH curve I had to cancel the criuse to make the turn. My dealer installed a new cluster at 40K. This is a safty problem that you should be able to get fixed for free. Randy
  6. Mine went out around 42,000 and my dealer replaced mine also.
  7. I think this is a great idea. This should be a place for members to post about experiences with the all so many venders that are not "perferred". ;) Randy
