Well, long story short my paint guy flaked on me. So I've been talking to a buddy of mine about possibly going the wrap route with the truck. After thinking about the issue with the paint guy I was just throwing ideas around in my head and may give it a whirl as something new I've never done before. We'll see how it goes. He's going to get me a bid and let me know how long it'd take him to wrap it and we'll go from there. In the meantime, I'm going to start gathering parts for the interior now starting with order a new cushion for the driver's seat bottom. Then will be seat covers, carpet, audio stuff, ...... on and on and on

when you use IMGUR there should be a line you can copy/paste call "bb code" or something like that with IMG tags on the front and back. Use that line with the tags so that we can see them within the thread.

I'm looking at going to coilovers somewhere down the line myself. Either way, she's beautiful as-is And 100% agree with FSC. Not been a regular in a LONG time for the same reasons. Glad to see ya on here. I've always been a fan of the trucks you've had.

wow this is a good looking truck!! Any slightly lowering it? Just a very small drop would be huge! Either way, I love your truck, man BTW...I think I recognize you from FSC back when that forum was the place to be.

Overall a decent truck that just needs some help. Definitely should not be advertised as an Intimidator but in the right hands could be a cool clone. Needs a drop in price, too, knowing it's not an Intimidator and probably not even an SS.

Well, I've promised myself that I wouldn't do anything with the inteiror of this thing until after my exterior was done other than the rims but I couldn't take the janky center console lid anymore so I replaced it.

I've had good luck with imgur myself but there are others out there.

For what it's worth, I've done a lot of business with LMC over the years on numerous projects and I've never had an issue returning an item for any reason.

Thanks, man, and yes I have Picked up an SS Bumper cover this weekend from a buddy up in Iowa. Last week I received all the brackets to mount the bumper cover from a member on here. Last week I also got rid of the surface rust on the frame and underside and undercoated her. This week I'm going to hit the brakes and shave the stake pockets. She goes in for paint in less than a month.

rockers and cab corners fixed this weekend. one step closer to full repaint.

This week has been decent... 1. Got some brackets for the SS bumper from an SSS.com member 2. Dropped it off last night for new rockers and cab corners. Should get it back tomorrow evening 3. New rear paintable bumper arrives today with new brackets 4. Air ducts for the SS bumper arrived today. 5. Lower grill for SS bumper arrives tomorrow. 6. Will shave stake pockets within this next week. 7. Goes in for paint in early November Not much worthy of pics and stuff but progress is good nonetheless. Should be like a new truck on the exterior within 6 weeks once it's out of paint. Then I can focus on interior then performance after that.

This weekend was pretty good progress. tint done and all lights replaced. Brackets for the SS bumper are on their way and will get the SS bumper cover here in less than 2 weeks. Still a couple more things to do before she's ready for paint but we're almost there.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do something different than the uglyness that's on there now. Either a tip and tuck it up closer to the body behind the wheel or move the exit to in front the wheel. But definitely something different than what we see there. ...and thank you, sir Do you happen to know if the bumper that is behind the SS bumper cover is the same as a stock Silverado?

What: 2wd 2003 Silverado Extended Cab Short Bed Mileage: a lot Engine: 4.8L This is your basic no frills truck. It does have carpet, power windows/locks but that's about it. So it's a blank canvas for whatever and pretty close to what I wanted because my boys will continue to learn how to work on cars with this truck and the plan is eventually my boys will share this truck as they start getting into driving age. I figure if they have some input and work on it with me then by the time they are 16 they'll have some blood, sweat and tears into it and hopefully that will translate in being proud of what they're driving and take care of it like it's their very own. I've not read all of the responses so I'm sure this has been said already but honestly miles only really matter if the truck hasn't been well maintained. For a well maintained truck 125k is nothing. If things break or wear out then just replace or upgrade them and move on especially if you love the truck.
