  1. Here are some more pics. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showcase/ssmoothie-68-roadrunner-hard-top.4948/
  2. Thanks Ray, been looking quite a while, picked this up from a guy in Kenniwick. Yes not much the paint is new, interior needs a little work, needs rewired, and motor gone through. Going to pull the motor to repaint the engine bay. Going restomod, will in time do new suspension, brakes. I found they only made 15,359 Hardtops in 68. All hidden SO match the fender tag, VIN matches title and search shows it was built in St. Louis at matches all the tags.
  3. Yes you do. Blackbear Performance did mine.
  4. Thanks man, they are Simmons Wheels out of Australia, these are the FR in 18 inch. http://www.simmonswheels.com.au/
  5. Update time, finally found someone to do the headliner, were this sunroof is located is was not just cut and re upholstery, you have to cut and leave about six inches of the outside edge and then stretch the material to the sunroof edge and glue it. Also changed out all the blend doors motors while I had the dash off. Click on pic to make bigger. So I got the interior back together and looking for a Trailblazer steering wheel airbag. So next is electric fans and stock wiring hardness with the foglights already wired. Then I'm not sure if I'm going to get to paint this summer or wait. I've been working on the Imp SS also.
  6. How about buy this one on ebay for $450 and hall ass with a trailer to Ray, Michigan and pick this up. Not sure if your in St. Charles IL or St. Charles, MI. http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-06-Silverado-Sierra-Fleetside-Pickup-Bed-Box-6-6-Short-SS-Pick-Up/263054605308?_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D2aafd78685294aacafd980207b38371d%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D263054605308&_trkparms=pageci%253A775645c7-6a50-11e7-b7a8-74dbd1807c1a%257Cparentrq%253A4c8dd1a215d0abc313f99ad8fffa3902%257Ciid%253A1
  7. I agree, just find a local wrecking yard, or watch craigslist, they pop up on there all the time.
  8. That good news, I haven't got an airbag yet, will it fit good over the raised letters?
  9. Oh yeah, keeping it as a everyday driver and bought the clone short box to monkey with.
  10. I just did 2 ducts 8 holes with no problem. Plastic would be better. I try to get some pics, there already mounted back on the truck.
  11. I went to Harbor Freight and bought there aluminum set and it worked fine. Not sure what size of rivet I used just try the one that fits the best.
  12. Maybe email Vince that you didn't get your order, he got back to me in a few days on my first email, then sent me an email that it was sent out.
  13. I got mine in the mail today. Now i need to find a decent airbag.
  14. I know you just across the border, but maybe give these guys a call, they may ship also. https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ptd/6127221127.html
  15. Just did all the blend door actuator's, one under the driver gas side peddle wasn't to bad, just wrenches your neck muscles. The 2 up top I took the dash cover off and cut the vent tube thats in the way, and duct tape in back together, tried going underneath just no room for my hands to get to the screws. Blows cold and hot everywhere now. I didn't do the lower one in the lower box I may just do it to make it new.
  16. I made an order last night. I will post when it is here. Now I have to find a decent air bag.
  17. Thanks Ebermama, thats what it look like I just didn't want to be buying the wrong bag.
  18. So far what I have researched is that the TBSS bag and the regular TB bag with the gold bowtie are the same bag and should plug and play into the SSS steering wheel. Then add the SS font logo from motorcityvinyl.com Does anyone know if I'm 100% right? It seems the TB bag is cheaper and should work.
  19. Dougie thank you, after searching around most state that is it 60 mm for both the SS and the bowtie, And motorcityvinyl.com does give the 2 3/8 option.
  20. Thanks for the pic, whats the distance across the emblem?
