You should get a rematch! My brother talks up the 5.0 Mustangs all the time so I wanna send him a video of an SS beating one haha.
-
A mechanic buddy of mine was telling me that the 65s will hold up until you hit around 600+ HP.
-
How's the 65 holding up with all that power? What's better an 80 swap or building up a 65?
-
What happened to the Mustang? It looked like it fell off at the 1:00 minute mark, like they braked or something.
-
Congrats man. I know I'm new around here but I have been trying to contribute and post around.
-
I believe this is the correct video What is your setup currently to be getting a time like that?

Looking to buy 06/07 Silverado SS under 100k miles
Tru Killer replied to Tru Killer's topic in SSs & VHOs Only
Wait, so is it possible to install that full center console in a truck that has the folding center console/middle seat? -

I can't tell if you're serious or not hahah What do you mean by full exhaust? Like an entirely new exhaust system? -

So I actually looked into this truck further and they're not willing to budge on the price at all. Personally, I don't mind the cloth seats, but I do wish it had the full center console. -
Beautiful Intimidator SS for sale with 44k miles
Tru Killer replied to Tru Killer's topic in SSs & VHOs Only
Oh wow really? Yeah that's definitely an issue then in my opinion. -
Not mine, but I came across it when searching for a new truck. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could afford it. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=458594182

Twin Turbos right? Nice -
Hey everyone, I thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss and hear everyone's dream builds and setups. This might also serve as some inspiration to others that are considering what to do with their own trucks. So let's hear it, what would you do? EDIT: Title got cut off somehow, it was supposed to be "If money wasn't an issue and you could build your dream SS, what would it be?"

Would an SS in Texas meet California's emissions regulations?
Tru Killer replied to Tru Killer's topic in General SS
I am going to reach out to the seller and see if they can send me a picture of the emissions label. Here's hoping it's California Certified.. -
Maybe I'm just young and naive, but I would think you'd want to keep some toys now that you're retired, not get rid of them haha. If there was any toy to keep, this SS would be one of them, if you can even call it a toy. It's more like a fun collectible in my opinion.

I may be buying an SS from Texas, and after reading on the California DMV website it says that "Not all new vehicles are manufactured to be sold in California. Many manufacturers make vehicles to be sold only in the other 49 states. These vehicles (49-state) are made with smog equipment that meets federal emission standards, but not California standards. California-certified (50-state) vehicles are made to be sold in California." So I am concerned that the truck might not be California certified. Does anyone know if it would be? Or better yet could anyone with an SS in Texas verify this for me? The DMV website also said that the emission label under the hood (as seen in the link above) will tell if it is or not. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I agree with Johnny, at less than 13k miles that SS is a gem. It is very very rare to find one with that low mileage. The fact that it is an 04 in Arrival Blue Metallic and completely stock makes it even more of a rare find. Hang onto it if you can, but if you really can't, in the condition it is in I wouldn't let that go for any less than $25k. Putting some sort of bed liner on it though may be a good idea if you ever put anything in the back.

Was there ever an option to have leather seats without the SS badging
Tru Killer replied to Tru Killer's topic in General SS
Oh, no I didn't. They're asking too much in my opinion. Any tips on negotiating? I'd be more willing to pay like $20k. -

Which one? In the post you're quoting I was speaking hypothetically I guess haha.. I'm just getting ahead of myself ? -
Just thought I'd add this in case OP isn't familiar with Belltech. The shocks everyone is recommending are Belltech Street Performance Shocks.

Yeah that is something I'm considering, but honestly I'm just worried about someone doing them badly. I wouldn't want to ruin my headrests or have the SS logo look bad. -
Wow, did they just jack it up with some bricks and run off with the wheels? That's crazy, I'm sorry that happened. At least they didn't steal all four of them I guess right?
