Where does this part actually go on the truck? Anyone have pictures? Maybe I'm missing something here lol.

I know there are a bunch of guides floating around of people changing the backlights on the gauges. I'm sure in one of those threads somebody mentions the blue tinting you're talking about.

Why would it not? Couldn't you just wire the new head unit in? I wonder if you could replace it with an aftermarket sub.

Yeah I have been interested in doing that actually, but I don't know much about them. I know the truck comes with an alarm from the factory, not sure what the difference between that and an aftermarket one is though. Is there any info about kill switches on the forums? Maybe I'll look around and see what I can find.

Haha yeah I'll definitely try to. Fortunately the truck is in pretty good shape and doesn't need much work at all honestly.

Were the turn signals in the mirrors not exclusive to the SSs? I've never seen a regular Silverado with those that weren't aftermarket.

Hey all, Does anyone know the dimensions of the speakers in these trucks? Mine has the Bose system if that matters. I looked in my truck and saw two in the front on the door panels, two tweeters in the front above the dash, and two in the rear on the door panels above the cupholders. From what I have found online, it looks like the front are 6 1/2" speakers and the rear are 4" x 6". Can anyone could confirm this for me?

Honestly I think the stock SS tips are ugly If I ever get a new catback done I'll let you know.

I really like the look of a dumped exhaust more than the sound honestly. I think the look of having no exhaust pipes is super clean. I'm pretty positive in California having a dumped exhaust under the car is still legal, because I have a friend with it dumped on his truck that I know for a fact is legal.

So are you recommending that I buy a Corsa kit and then have someone modify it to dump instead of coming out the back?

Are you me? Because I'm in the exact same situation right now.. I think I want a dumped dual exhaust setup, because I just think they just look cool honestly lol. I am in California as well, so I'm facing the same restrictions, and I know I couldn't get a "true dual exhaust". Also, on the topic of smog checks, does anyone know of a shop that would be a little flexible..?

I'm actually digging those wheels.. not usually a fan of the black wheels but they look better than the matte black ones I see everywhere.

I'm in NorCal but I'd be willing to drive somewhere for quality work.

Hey everyone, Can anyone here from California recommend some great shops that they take their trucks to? Any shops at all, from exhaust, performance, suspension, paint, body, tire, etc. I want to have some good reliable places to take my truck to when I eventually get one. Thanks.

Anyone know what kind of times you'd be looking at with 500-600 horses under the hood? If I build a truck I think that's where I'd be comfortable keeping it at.
