Man I wish I knew about this before I bought a new set of OEM lines. I was just going to replace the rubber part with braided stainless steel lines, but honestly this is a better idea.
-
Ahh I see.. so basically it replaces that plate and then also allows you to run your own lines. Do you think I'd be able to run braided stainless steel lines the whole way? The OEM oil cooler lines are part hard-line and part rubber.
-
Do you have a link by any chance?
-
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this is exactly what I want to do. My oil cooler lines are leaking as well and I'd rather just solve the problem once and for all. How exactly do I convert the steel tubing to the AN fitting though? Does this require welding at all? I think I generally understand how this all works but I'm not sure, still pretty new to all this.

I'm interested, I sent you a PM.

Group buys for people that missed them.

Did any of those lanyards ever get sold? -
I'm going to be installing my new head unit soon and it has rear USB ports that I would like to route through my factory cigarette lighter port. That way I can just plug my phone into the USB ports right on the center console. Has anyone done this before? I think it could look really clean if done properly. Thanks.

To Bser Rollpan Or Not To Bser Rollpan?
Tru Killer replied to MARTYW's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
Sorry to bump such an old thread.. but does anyone know if these roll pans are still available anywhere? I'm not sure if he still makes them anymore. -
Screw that, time to gather up a bunch of friends and get your truck back!

Hey, Right now I have the stock Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires, which are 275/55/20, but I plan on lowering my truck more and want something wider and more low profile. I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for 295/45/20 tires? I plan to run them on the stock SS rims, which I believe are 20 x 8.5. I am willing to go with 285/45/20 if necessary, but I really want to stick with that size sidewall because I like how it looks. Thanks.

Yo where did you get that Silverado SS lanyard? That is dope, I want one!
-
Unfortunately no.. this is an issue site wide because everyone apparently loved Photobucket back in the day. If you see that generic picture it means they have to sign into their Photobucket account from years ago and update their account preferences.

Are there any other security products out there you guys know of that protects the tailgate? Or is the gate keeper thing all there is? Just curious.
-
Do you know who makes the bed cover? Looks like a Snugtop.
-
Well shit that's crazy, you did get lucky man I would have been freaking out too. Hopefully the worst of the storm has passed now.
-
Seeing how this guy took care of his truck I wouldn't be surprised if he still has the original parts lol.
-
How are your guys rides? I hope everyone is able to keep themselves and their belongings safe!

Btw just thought I'd point out that's a Corsa exhaust not Borla. Good luck with the truck man, I agree with the others that it'd be real nice to see this thing put back together. It's honestly not in too bad shape at all. Just needs a new bed and front end basically. Also, what bed cover is that? Did you have to bolt it on?

I wish I had the cash right now, I'd buy one to replace my spare tire lol.

2006 Silverado SS speaker dimensions?
Tru Killer replied to Tru Killer's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
Ohh nice I thought that was for like OnStar or something so I never pressed it haha. -
You can try uploading to http://imgur.com/then posting the link here.

Sorry should have clarified, I meant the cost to install. I have heard C notching the frame adds a lot more labor costs.
-
Ah I see, so you're potentially selling it one day then I assume as a collectors item? I got my tints for the same reason, I went with the Llumar Pinnacle Series but I heard the 3m Crystalline tints are great too. Looks good.
-
How much that run you? I know the C notch adds a lot to the cost..
