Black, the one true color

I have a quick question about what to expect when I put the AWD truck on jack stands raising all four wheels off the ground? I am troubleshooting a noise so I raised the front wheels and put jack stands under the frames and then raised the back and put blocks under the axle. When I started the truck and put it in drive, the rear wheels were turning but the fronts weren't. I applied very light brake pressure and the front wheels would start to turn. The ABS light came on quickly after that, which is to be expected. So I am curious as to what should happen when all four tires are off the ground. Thanks for the help!

Bought my brother-in-law's 2003 SSS AWD this past January. Working on the front suspension now and just showing the truck some TLC. Its amazing the knowledge that is on this board for the past 14 years, I hope to put it to good use. I used to have a Pontiac G8 Gt before this truck, needed a truck for all of my home projects!

I just replaced the Intermediate Steering Shaft, a little while ago. It was making the clunking sound. I replaced it with the updated one. This noise was before and after replacing that.

I know this has been stated a thousand times but I wanted to check if this is the same noise that everyone is hearing with their front end while turning at low speeds?
