You could buy one with dl3 or dl8 mirrors on ext cabs and crew cabs. Dl3 had the signals in glass, not sure if all had power fold and puddle in them, but they did come on "optioned trucks. I believe in some cases you could get them in reg cab, but it may have had to have the 5.3 in it to be an option.

Nail on the head, personally seen a vehicle, explorer truck to be exact, that actually tried stuffing cardboard between bushing and frame... I would say maybe a little WD-40 in there as best as possible, then drive where you typically hear the squeaking.

Yea, down here we charge $20 per wheel. The machine we use has a plastic head to remove the tire, but when you put the air lock on, it actually raises up maybe a centimeter or two, trying to avoid touching the wheel, but tough tires it'll all touch, not damage/scratch though. Good thing you don't have tpms we charge extra to swap over... Then if they just keep throwing extra weight on to balance it out, naaambe! I'm still waiting for a posting all about that silver birch of yours though!!

Check the three nuts inside the door that hold your mirror on, if you go aftermarket read the reviews on where you buy from. I bought some aftermarket signal/power for my 06 blue granite, and the glass shook something horrid going down the highway.

haha what color is she? Congrats man! I really wanted the truck but I felt I would've been torn between driving and enjoying it racking up miles, or making her a garage queen and very rarely driving, feel I wouldn't have been abke to truly enjoy her, but again congrats on yours!

I have a 13 ccsb silverado and in the summertime my coolant temp always looks like that. Just make sure it never goes further than that, and check out the coolant, If its got some miles on it, you may want to flush it so you know its a proper mix not all water.

Yeah I live in South Texas area and people bring vehicles up from the valley with salvage titles and say they were minor fender benders, but you would think it's a newer vehicle it should make the title rebuilt not salvaged.

Haahaha , people who have mid to low mileage seem to be asking at least 18k for their trucks. I could understand an ISS, but base SS no...especially just cl posters/private sellers, these people think their allowed to use dealer pricing on their vehicles...
