New Battery, six year old battery is too much for me... Not really sure on an Optima. Look for the best priced battery with the most CCA that works for your truck. If your belts are cracking or glazed switch them out... ( Goodyear/Continental Gatorback belts are good ones) Big 3 is a good idea... What amps and subs are you thinking on getting?

Replaced the mirror perimeter bulbs today and both tabs also broke!!!! Tried to look for replacements and no luck... Probably will have to get new cheap mirrors with puddle lights off of e&@y to get new ones.

Works fine. No issues. Original filter was replaced for the newer K&N dry type, no more messy oiling. Filter is clean and no damage. I only removed it to replace it with an Outlaw X system. $150 < $125 Shipped

I have this same problem. I have a corsa exhaust system installed and a rear end girdle. Only rear bars I have read that clear were the Hotchkis ones. I have tried to purchase them from online stores that state they have them and always come to the same conclusion, they don't have it in stock really or its the wrong model number.

Ohhh... your right. It was the onstar one. I tried programming it to mute the radio instead but I couldn't get it to work.

Don't know which harness you got. But the one I used gave me most controls except really for mute on the steering wheel.
