Just got my Tie rods in!!! Adams Chevrolet is installing them for me! As soon as I figure out how to upload pics I will submit them!

My driver seat came on and off by itself, carmax figured it out. They wound up replacing the switch, and then replacing the module. There is a module built into the power window switch, apparently it is common for it to fail, and of course it isn't sealed so rain pours in and around it. It must be programmed to the vehicle by a tech II. I'd look into that if all else fails if look into that.

Where can I find the carbon fiber radiator surround? And any other carbon fiber parts such as a dash bezel. Not the BS fake carbon fiber look alike or dipped crap...

Where did you get the Chin spoiler?

FYI My Silverado SS is a 4 Spline, there's a good chance most others are. P/N 28559 is one set of per vehicle.(Inner/outer tie Rod assembly) x2 Autozone has it for 199.99

I figured as much. Mine has torsion bars and it does look like there is plenty of room for an axle/hub. What I'm wondering is about the steering. Specifically tie rods and such But i suppose if the knuckles are the same then the steering would be too.

Well the reason I want to put them on my truck is remarkably simple. I want the most robust overbuilt suspension so my truck will last. I hate doing things twice and if I can get an extended service life on these versus an OE or an OE equivalent will do so. Also, I love American made parts, especially from a reputable small business. Are they more expensive? Absolutely, but I do believe with our trucks, at least my Intimidator deserves nothing short of the best. Any AWD guys know if the suspension is the same? There's another thread talking about how the high HP AWD guys would bend theirs.

Rare parts brand

Hello All, Merry Christmas/Happy holidays! I'm looking to put Rare Parts Everything on the front end of my truck. What I'm curious about is the fact that I don't see a "Silverado SS" section. My Truck: 2006 Silverado SS Intimidator (RWD) Does the RWD SSS's use the same suspension components as the AWD? Does anyone have the correct part numbers for this application? Thanks Guys!

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Frank. I've learned a lot from this community, and I wish to give back as well. My truck 2006 Silverado Intimidator SS 167k still young. Volant CAI, leds tastefully throughout, Cat back exhaust(not sure of brand) PO put it on. I'd like to see into the zo6 Brake upgrade brackets and Carbon fiber parts throughout. At any rate, I look forward to giving back to this community and to hopefully get with other SSS owners in the Aberdeen/NJ/NY/DC area!
