  1. What is the part number for the pro comp shock adaptors?
  2. Take it to a GM dealer and have them unlock the ECM. That's the only thing I can think of. There's an emergency procedure to limp a vehicle that has a locked ECM involving a fuse but I can't remember what it is. Also, this forum is for owners of Silverado SS trucks (2003-2006) So honestly I'm not surprised no one answered.
  3. Do you still sell these brackets?
  4. Hmm... Off topic but by chance how did you like your Russell SS lines?
  5. Does the fluid need replaced? Maybe you can hit 2 bird with one stone. After bleeding with a Tech 2 i would look at bleeding them normally as well as checking for leaks.
  6. Just as an update, one of the boots tore but Rare parts sent me a replacement no questions asked. I'm at 188k miles and these tie rods are still working great.
  7. Just in case anyone is interested I'm seeing about getting QA1 to make shocks for us. The ones I installed are awesome.
  8. Alrighty boys and girls, get strapped in or strapped on because this is going to be wild. So my SSI has 185k(i know, I know) and I have not replaced the shocks yet(as in they are oem). As you could imagine there is little to no dampening. That being said I have tried more than a few brands and I have my picks. KYB- never again, Jesus never again. Blistien- huge fan(didn't see a street performance version however) Monroe- Ok but very meh So I was doing my research, I had only a few priorities(no specific order): 1. Must be made in USA(if we want our economy going we need to be supporting domestic manufacturers) 2. Needs to be of the highest quality. 3. Needs to look good. 4. Needs to provide adequate dampening wether: towing, running around town, spirited driving, or on the track. So I settled on QA1, they are rebuildabke as well, come with a great warranty and meet all my requirements. I ordered the TS905 shocks from summit, they are single adjustable and we're $153ea. When I got them(they are beautiful), I went to put them on. They do not fit due to the shortness of the lower mounting eye and width of the shock body. I called QA1 and they asked for pics which I took about 20. They will be updating their catalog soon if not already. They are currently sending me the TD905s which have a longer lower mounting eye and are double adjustable. I'll keep y'all updated as to the going ons.
  9. Hope that helps, let Us know how it turns out. Here's a fun fact: That part number is for the pair. And by pair, I mean inner and outer tie rods, for both sides of the truck. Meaning: By the time you pay for some off brand bs parts for the whole truck you'll have paid about the same price as the RPs. Also, you'll have made in the USA super beefy tie rods rated for higher strength than your truck will ever need, and likely never needing replaced again.
  10. Damn Let's get a list of dudes willing to get them. Put me on it.
  11. Boom! Found it http://autoplicity.com/103519-hotchkis-performance-performance-sway-bar-set-1-716-in-dia-front
  12. RP2863 is the ones for 2wd, should be the same exact one as for Awd due to the fact the knuckle is the same. I have them installed on my truck and love them. Make sure you call Rare Parts prior to ordering to verify they correct application as most vendors have no idea what an SS is nor correct application. This is primarily due to the fact most dudes that order these are the 2500/3500 guys not a 1500. What's especially interesting is the fact that the Silverado SS/SSI uses the same steering components as the 1500HD and shares some parts with the 2500. This makes most parts guys scratch their heads. I ordered mine through Autozone(at a great deal)(below cost) but despite looking Them up by application, they sent me the 2500 versions. Thankfully RP has excellent Customer Service, and overnighted me the correct ones and sent a label for the incorrect ones.
  13. The QA1 905 Shocks do not fit the SS, well at least my Intimidator. I called the manufacturer and they are working through it. The specific problem is the lower shock mount. The oem shock eye bolt is longer than the QA1. (Distance from center of eye hole to bottom of shock body). I'm returning the shocks to Summit, and QA1 is going to sell me the TD905(double adjustable) for the same price. The TD's have a longer distance from center of eye bolt to bottom of shock body. Just wanted to post this so that others don't have the same issue. Ones I bought: https://m.summitracing.com/parts/hal-ts905 Ones I'm getting: https://m.summitracing.com/parts/qa1-td905

  15. It ran me 460 tax, tag and title. Plus the install at the dealer (250ish).
  16. Dkcustoms, PM sent. I will buy one. Need more info!
  17. Where did you get the carbon fiber radiator cover thing??
