Hey everyone just picked up my lq9 and wondering wat else would I need to drop it into my 04 silverado. My silverado has a 4.8, my question is would everything fit to just drop in or no, wat will swap over and wat would I need that is needed for the 6.0.

Any idea how much it would take to drop a 6.0 into one of these? I'm debating if to do the 6.0 swap in my 03 single cab or picking up my friends and dropping the 6.0 into that

Yea I feel you on that bro, if the engine is runnin good right now just focus on the rest if it, I'm debating on picking this baby up from my friendYou never know. Im still on the table about the engine. The 350 doesn't have many miles, but an LS motor would be sweet. But while its running good, I'm trying to get my money saved back and such to get this think in good drivin, and looking order.

Lol I'm not actually going with them, just wondering about the ss cam makin that much hp with the lq9If you are mechanically inclined, you could get yourself way more bang for your buck and still make out on top. I run a cam similar to that, but my truck is SCSB. I wouldn't personally spend the coin on a crate motor unless I had to, but if it will cost you 4K with shipping and tuning that's not Terrible, especially if you have the supporting mods already

Just wondering if anyone is running there lq9 with a ss cam? When searching online I came across bd turnkey engines where if u buy a lq9 for a extra price they will put in a ss cam and tune it for you and will be makin 425hp, anyone runnin that just want to get some input, and info appreciated thanks here's the link http://bdturnkeyengines.com/60l-lq9-vs-lq4/
