  1. Thanks Richard, that makes me feel more at ease than when i initially saw the damage.. wise advice as always man! George
  2. Almost there, I'm sitting at 34k right now lol only 166k miles to go haha all jokes aside i'm planning to keep mine until the wheels fall off! George
  3. The problem with that is it was a hit & run, coincidently when i came back out after i left the billiards hall, the space behind me was empty, so i basically have to incur the charges for someone else that wasn't cautious and responsible enough to leave a note.. my insurance deductible is $500 I'm gonna report it to my insurance tomorrow for sure Yeah you're right i really would like to keep the original bumper cover, looking it over it's not that bad, the thing that's killing me is that in the second picture is that it's bent inward, it seems that one of the brackets on the inside is bent, the rest of the metal did not bend, i would think this is what throwing the alignment off the bumper with the body..
  4. Here's some pictures now i may be slightly overreacting but this baby's pristine with 33k miles on it now she's a jewel so any little thing that happens I am going to get bothered! Any ideas how much the part cost OEM? and then to paint it? George
  5. So Im dealing with a bit of a dilemma, I went to go play billiards tonight, parked my SS on the street and I came out to the surprise that the car behind me hit the rear bumper and bent it in lnward on the right side! ? some paint chips came off but the bumper is bent in a lot anything and it has a dent anything I can do to fix it? I wonder what route the insurance is gonna take when I report it to them?
  6. Why can't people just ****ing work for what they have! Some people will just never understand the concept of work hard for what you have..
  7. Yup tried almost everything, was thinking of some ideas i thought were clever and nobody would think of them but nope lol so i have to be creative on this one.. George
  8. Hey guys, i pretty much almost completed getting my SS right, put some limo tints on, installed a better stereo receiver, put a high end viper alarm, repaired the cluster and dropped some LED's in there, i was always curious on getting a custom license plate, idk what i would want it to say though i want something clever, any ideas would be greatly appreciated as well as keeping in mind that 7 characters is the max George
  9. The 2nd one has the COA, that's a rare sight, most Intimidators that I've seen do not, it's just an extra perk for the owner to know which number truck it is out of the 933.. George
  10. Still available price drop to 80
  11. Anybody have any Silverado SS floormats?
  12. I have one that came out of my 04'
  13. Congrats on your sale I found an 04' SS with 32k on the meter, no hard feelings man George
  14. Speakers sold, Radio still available
  15. Got it, thanks that's the guy I was looking for
  16. Anybody here rebuild and repair instrument clusters? I got my SS and it was flawless except for the oil pressure gauge doesn't work, the RPM one goes way up to 6,000, and the speedometer does as well, so who rebuilds them for a good price? Don't know if these need to be programmed again or not..
  17. Hello I am selling the stock SS radio that came out of the 04' SS i just bought, i also have the set of Bose speakers that came out of the truck, everything is in great working condition anybody interested PM me, thanks George
  18. Just picked her up guys, she's home i couldn't get to the alarm installation shop to get a nice alarm installed however it has a club on it right now, factory alarm, and i blocked off my driveway with my other chevy truck so that they could not tow it.. i feel a bit at ease but not as much as i would if i had a VIper alarm on there
  19. True man, very good points I have to enjoy the truck i just bought with really low mileage or else what's the point? I however have to take my precautions and do everything in my power to protect my investment.. tomorrow as soon as i pick up the truck from the guy I am going to take it straight to get a Viper alarm with 2-way pager and GPS installed, thanks for all the input guys!
  20. As of now i called a few places about the viper alarm and it's around a little over $500 with starter kill and GPS tracking, for the Ravelco installed it's around $550 so right then and there I am looking at over 1.000 dollars easily which i don't have, i have the money to get the high end Viper alarm so i think that is what I am going to do.. not too convinced on the Ravelco it is basically a kill switch on steroids, i figured i can do a hidden kill switch for much much less than that. The guy i bought it from gave me the club he used for it, he said a friend from the local police department had gave it to him, it's a bright yellow color so it must be a good club..
  21. I am currently stuck in a rut, in my area to install a Ravelco system I'm looking at 499.99 plus tax, or my other option would be to install a high end Viper alarm with GPS tracking, tilt sensors, and starter disable I am looking at 500 for that one as well.. don't know wether to install a Ravelco system with a cheap Viper alarm and then put the club on it, what do you guys think?
  22. Some people say it's good, the rare bunch say it could be bypassed, my initial thought was to install a Viper alarm with a two-way pager, and GPS tracking, if say i go out to dinner with my girl and somebody breaks into the truck, as soon as the door opens the alarm will start sounding and i would be notified on my phone( given that i download the application) and also on my pager, if they do manage to steal it, I can track where it's at, this with a combination of the club, and maybe another security measure like installing a couple of cameras around my driveway would be good IMO, what are you guys thinking?
  23. Hey guys after years and years of searching and patiently waiting i FINALLY got another SS, its an 04' with 32k on the odometer, S & B cold air intake, JBA shorty headers, and a complete sound system, i started this topic to get suggestions from current owners of these trucks to protect it, what would you guys recommend to prevent it from getting stolen, didn't really get into this much because the 1st one i had i only had it for a month when a financial emergency happened i had to sell it? A sure thing besides the obvious storing in a garage.. any tips would be greatly appreciated
  24. You hit the nail on the head man.. people think that the intimidator brings big bucks just because they fitted the truck with DE headrests, his signature on the cluster, a spoiler, and some badges. The only situation that it would justified for it to bring big bucks is if the truck had 0-2,000 miles on the odometer.. at 24.5 he's going to have the truck for a long time. It really didn't make much sense to me to come on here not knowing and asking opinions to other forum members about what the truck is worth. other members including myself then proceed to tell the guy what it's worth and then he completely ignores everything and lists it for 24.5k, to each their own i guess
  25. 24.5k for an intimidator with 88k miles and no certificate?
