  1. I can' speak on it personally as I only own a Silverado SS but every time I see a TBSS on the road when I am driving my SS I think to myself that it is kind of cool to be seeing the SUV version of my truck lol, If I had the spare money and the chance to own one I would for sure own one! 🙂

  2. Tbh I don't think so, the SSS had it's run back in the day and we all wished it could have been many things like a single cab with a supercharger to compete with the Lightning but ultimately were happy that it was an extended cab N/A,  but realistically they're making way for new innovative ideas and they're going towards the full EV path.

Put them on mine and pulled the. Right back off and sold them. Stocks worked just was good. After talking to a caliper manufacture they explained it to me that this is a old school way to get a bbk before all the companies were making them for trucks. Also that they are made to stop a 2500lbs vetted and not a 3500lbs truck. Yes they are 6 piston but not big pistons. I have a brembo bbk now and difference in piston size is crazy! It’s ok out of 50 I bet maybe 5 people actually did the conversion. I don’t think people look at the cost of the parts beforculling the trigger on the idea. I only did it because I bought all the Calipers On offer up for 200. If you search around you can find a Powerstop bbk for 150 or under. I have seen them for1200 on clearance. I’m not knocking dudes “ brackets” they are well built and hav kick ass hardwear. Would love to hear some other non biased opinions. That’s the other shitty part is someone will tell you they are great and the best thing in the world ,  just because they spent so much on them  but really they don’t even like them lol

where did you get your brembo kit for your truck?

I have been shopping for a while now to try and pin down the values on these trucks. But it seems to me that the prices are all over the place. Im looking for a low mileage model, so its tough to know where I should start with my offers. I found one with 71k/$15,500, but it sold before I could even pick up the phone. That seemed like a really good deal. Now Ive got my eye on a 33k/$21,500 and a 49k/$23,500 ('03-'04). Based on prices Ive seen, those both seem to be a bit high. I was thinking more around $19,500-$20,500. Some say that those are fair market prices, but Ive seen many with 60k-90k go for $5,000-$7,000 less. Is 20k miles really worth $5,000 more in value??

Well I got mine a little over a year ago for $20,500, it had 32k on the clock and a few minor bolt-ons and little do dads but overall I think it was a great deal  I looked for 2 years before I found mine and yes the prices will vary because of the rarity of the vehicle, it ultimately doesn't have a stable value, it's worth what someone will pay for it, Good luck

Still no pics or info on your roll pan?  I have an OEM SS black rear bumper, cover etc.  it’s never been removed, but I was thinking about a roll pan as long as it’s hidden hitch ready.

any pics of that? been looking for one for a while but all of the ones I see are beat up

I got my switchbacks from headlightrevolution.com , they are the  "GTR Lighting Carbide Series 3156 / 3157 LED Bulbs, C/K Compatible"

I haven't had any problems at all with strobing or any other issues with them.  They were pretty expensive, 40$ a set, but I think they were worth it.  I'll take a short video and upload it if you're interested.  I haven't been too active on here because no one is really paying attention to this thread as far as I can tell.

a short video would be appreciated! ? would be nice to see the switchbacks on these trucks, might be a mod I do to my truck in the near future

Found these on Ebay. I have a 2003 SS and want to know has anyone installed something like these and if so is it just plug and play or is something else needed

    of modifications necessary??

Don't do it... I had these projector headlights on my old pickup truck before and the quality is really subpar as well as the light output... really crappy light pattern and very cheaply made headlight, I wouldn't do it if I were you, just stick to OEM or find a better option
