Now is there any difference between the 2wd ss rear and the awd ss rear? Besides the gears and awd is a 10bolt.

How can i order one of those inputs shafts off of you? Im doing a 80 swap now and im trying to get everything together

Finally had time to post some pictures of my brake project a couple weeks ago. Summit racing brand stock size drilled/slotted rotors, duralast gold pads, autozone paint, primer, and clear along with some decals. Unfortunately rear caliper was frozen up and i procastinated way too long to fix and it burned up which caused me to lose my brakes so i had to fix it asap. Anyone who wants to paint their calipers and brackets i put on 2-3 coats of each(primer, paint, then clear). Here are the results and destruction.

That looks awesome. I just used the vht caliper paint spray can from autozone. I put 2 coats of primers, 2 coats, then finish up with 2 coats of clear. They turned out really well so far. Im gonna clear the brackets as well. Hopeing to have everything back together except the calipers today.

Thats perfect. Im gonna paint them black. Hopefully i should have the silverado ss sticks here next week. If he can ship them today.

Everyone who painted their calipers did yall paint the brackets the same color also or just paint them black? Please post pictures of them finished

Hows she running now? Im thinking about running a s475 on my stock 6.0. Not gonna push more than 10-12psi. But i maybe you help with things i should worry about with added the extra power.

What tires do yall run during winter? I have nitto 420s now. But ive heard to not run them in winter. So im gonna need a set of winter tires just unsure what tire to go with.

Thats what i have now is stock with the trunion upgrade. I was just looking to see what anyone else has done. Vengeance told me that the stock rocker arms will do just fine and they will use them in their 800hp cars.

i definitely need to do this. I hate listening to the radio. And if yoy can still use the steering wheel controls. Thats a deal sealer for me. How much is the total cost of this mod and how where i can get these parts?

I need opinions and suggestions on what everyone has upgraded their rocker arms too. I have the stock ones for now. Everything else in the valvetrain has been upgraded. I have a buddy selling some yella terra 1.7 shaft mounts. Would those be good to use or should i go with something else

Thanks man i will take a look. Yea ik it sucks. I tried looking around to see if i can find a heavier duty forward sprag. According to PATC the borg warner 29 element forward sprag double caged is apparently about as good as it gets. Which unfortunately is what i already have.

Im curious to how the stock flexplate are good for. I have a built trans and converter. Unfortunately i damaged the sprag for "Drive" so i have to take the trans back. I figured mind as well put in a sfi approved flexplate but if i dont need to then i wont. Also is anyone running a console style shifter? Just looking for opinions

Im putting a 3000 stall in mine. But im also getting my trans completely built. I have obxr long tubes, cai, cam, injectors, corsa sport exhaust, and a wheatley tune. The guy building my trans and the place where im getting my converter from both recommended to not go higher than a 3200 stall. Also they recommended either a 9.5 single disc billet or 10.5 single disc billet. Im getting the 10.5. But i very rarely will tow anything.

I have a 04 silverado ss AWD mods are aem brute force cold air intake, obx racing longtube headers, corsa sport catback exhaust, "high flow" cats, texas speed and performance 7.375 hardened chromoly pushrods, .600 lift valve springs, comp cams ls1xr275hr-12 cam, ls7 lifters, 8.1L fuel injectors, and a charlie wheatley tune. Currently waiting on my protorque 10.5 single disc billet converter 3000 stall and CPT ultra pro race transmission. The drag strip is mason dixon dragway which is 552ft above sea level.
