Put the gasket between trans and t-case. The leak seems to be coming from where the t-case and rear driveshaft connect. Ive checked all my seals and theyre good, even if it was, it wouldn't cause that large amount of fluid to spray out. Im really hoping I can figure this thing out, gonna check out that input seal you mentioned. The tranny should be coming down again in a couple weeks when I install my stall, so im not to worried. Biggest thing is, the truck doesn't leak anything, until I drive it and stop somewhere, that I see it dripping from wherever it escaped. Other than that I don't get any leakage.

Added some Dex III ATF, and she was driving smooth as butter, once I got home realized there was ATF splattered all under the truck. Spoke to Bryan (ThickCajun) on the phone, and we think it might be a hose I forgot to connect on the T-case. Im hoping its that, and if so, im thinking that's what caused my T-case to go out in the first place.

So I replaced the chain on my transfer case and installed a case saver over the weekend, and ill say this, I was a little afraid to do it at first but for the most part it was a success. My question is, are the T-case and Tranny fluids both different? As in, when I check my transmission fluid level, is it defferent than the T-case fluid level? I got everything back and running, but I didn't add any fluids directly to the T-case, but ive been reading around and it sounds like I might need to. Can someone give me the benefit of the doubt on this? Thanks!

The way I look at it is, if you really want something, youll pay whatever they want. When I found my SS after 3 months of looking, I knew it was the perfect one, and I had made up my mind that, that was the one I wanted. Did I get a good deal? Not really, but I was able to hassle the guy down a couple grand, which was a huge plus for me, but in the back of my mind that didn't matter because I knew I was gonna get it regardless. Moral of the story is, if you genuinely want it then get it, but considering you have to ask, then you probably don't want it that bad, and its something you wanna look back at someday and not regret. Yeah I noticed that. Ive been trying to see what the major difference between the 2wd and 4wd headers is, since some brand advertise them as to being the same, or compatible for both.

Been doing some research on an exhaust setup I want to run. I ran into some info claiming 98-02 fbody headers should fit our trucks with minor modifications. Heres the deal, I found TSP makes headers with 2" primaries and 3.5" or 3" collectors. Im planning on slapping the blower on my truck once I get everything together, so would there be any issues with these headers fitting my AWD truck and would the 3.5" collectors be an overkill?? I know there are other brands, but TSP seems to be the best bang for my buck. Thanks in advance.
