  1. I just goto the local u-spray and pay car wash. I've never had any problem and I usually detail all my cars that way. Just watch what your doing and don't spray any electrical connectors directly. Try not to soak the exhaust manifolds or spray alternator. I don't even use degreaser just pressure and that gets job done.
  2. Try car-parts.com its a search engine of wrecking yards.
  3. Its called a drum in hat.... the little shoes are not that expensive..... the o.e. ones are on rock auto for 28 a side.... after that many years if You cant adjust it you may need to be replace em.
  4. Those parts are not SS specific.... any LT truck from your year will have the parts you need.
  5. I was hoping to avoid "modifying" anything.... I want to put them in for my low's.... just curious why did you only do your high's?
  6. Totally agree... but these trucks are getting REAL old.... I recently joined the Trailblazer Envoy forum for the truck I'm rebuilding. It's terrible, no traffic and complete idiots asking questions.... makes this place look busy.
  7. I learned about this type on another forum. They look interesting in there is no fan to worry about. I need to look to see how much room there is. Has anyone tried this style? Give me your thoughts.... https://www.amazon.com/SOCAL-LED-H11-Fanless-Conversion-Headlight/dp/B01LA5URGA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509563850&sr=8-3&keywords=led+headlight+fanless+canbus
  8. Its just a performance parts "exercise" to show you that your can put a LT4 blower on your motor.... It would be too expensive. The reason the original SS got killed was lack of sales due to the high price tag. I could see a "performance" edition like the Tahoe with a factory cat-back, Brembo brake upgrade and the 6.2....
  9. Welcome! In my opinion before you go crazy on mods I would check all the fluids and make sure the maintenance is up to date. You want truck to be reliable. You dont mention how many miles or (kms) it has. Make sure it has had a tune up if its at or over 100k. Pay particular

  11. Ive been looking for some myself. You can find repop ones all day long. The GM factory ones are impossible to find. I may have a line on some used ones. I need to call this week and see if I can get my hands them.
  12. Sure but your talking new vs. used and its pre painted... if you know anything about paint it is expensive these days. So its a "fair value" for NOS parts.....
  13. First off this is a sport truck forum.... not an off road forum. I didnt even waste my time watching the video.... Second I think Richard hit the nail on the head he is just trolling for views on his videos so he get ad money from YouTube.....
  14. Ah the same tool that posted the panty dropper video..... ?
  15. Not my ad..... if someone is looking for stock chrome... https://charlotte.craigslist.org/wto/d/s-silverado-ss-wheels-tires/6345047097.html
  16. Its highly unlikely that both seat tracks are bad. You have some sort of electrical problem. Either someone tapped into a circuit for aftermarket stuff or you may have a broken wire(s) somewhere. You would probably be money ahead by paying someone to properly diagnose it rather than throw parts at it......
  17. So do you like it? I have always been a corsa fan..... they just sound so damn good!
  18. I would suggest trying here..... http://www.chevelles.com/forums/
  19. Finally found a pic of the one I had back in the day......
  20. Dough... I meant LQ9..... Here is the CL Ad..... https://charlotte.craigslist.org/pts/d/2003-chevrolet-silverado-ss/6261882920.html
