Trailblazer SS rear end on A SSS
EXGM replied to TotoZC11's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
A trailblazer diff will not fit a Silverado..... -
No but you can add one. I added one to the Envoy I rebuilt and need to add one on the SS. I havent had time but its not hard. There is a good write up on the site.....

This site has a 1 meg limit. You need to resize your pictures smaller for them to work.

Factory remote start harness plug and play or?
EXGM replied to 06DaleSS's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
You probably just need to get a few GM remotes..... probably got lost or broken before your ownership.... -
We shop at the same place......lol.
-
20's ride best for sure.... I think they make TBSS replica rims that fit our trucks. Do a search.... I think the one guy on here sells them. He has an online store... I think his name is Tony.
-
The other versions look better. Im not a fan of the Z71....The GMC should look pretty good......
-
Saweeeeeet! Buy low sell high....... its a VHO. He stole at the last auction and is trying to make a buck. Lol.
-
Good luck finding one...... youll have more luck finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The ISS spoiler if you can find one is mounted with double sided tape and special brackets. From what people have said the repo wings are junk.....

Dude it looks pretty good. Looks about like my Carolina truck. If it was truly rusted you would see rust all over the frame. Looks pretty clean to me....

These trucks (as with most) hold their value...... I paid 21 four years ago with a truck with 40k on it as well. Lol

Um the dealer......
-
I doubt the dealer will budge much.... they just dropped a grand. It depends how bad they want to move it. They are in the business of selling not holding onto them..... Point out the flaws and see if you can use that to negotiate with them.

They didnt make a lot of them..... my guess is most got used as intended as trucks and have a million miles on them. Most car lots dont list them right so you have to look for a regular Silverado and look for the signs of being a VHO (badges, wheels, exhaust).

It was struck by lightning? Wow.... Im not sure if that is a good or bad thing...... lol.

Welcome! What part of SC are you in? I live in Charlotte for now but will be moving soon to Utah.....
-
I will say nice low mileage SSS are hard to come by. The place that has it for sale has at least a few SSS in stock at any given time so they know what the market is. When I bought mine 3 years ago I tried to get the Ford dealer I found it at to budge on the price and they didnt. I have always been of the opinion that you should buy the best example you can find. As I have learned in life you always seem to spend a little more but if in the end you get what you want then its worth it in the long run. My truck has had zero issues in the last three years and I couldnt have been happier with it even though I spent more than I wanted initially......
