They were discontinued in 2011, no dealers show inventory so you just have to look on the net... my guess is you will have better luck finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I can see from the picture it's an ARE cover. Probably the best money can buy IMHO. I put one on my first new car I bought an S10 xtreme... I've always had a thing for sport trucks.

I pulled some off some Escalades and a Tahoe of similar vintage (think the Cads were 04s and Tahoe not sure). All the GMT 800s of that vintage with the uplevel mirror (turn signal mirror) used same parts. The pick in pull didn't charge me for them but I paid entry fee (actually had coupon for free entry) but I did spend several hundred dollars on parts for a new project.... I'll post pics later in the General area........ ;-)

Coolant is good for 5 years or 100k. Plugs and wires should be replaced every 100k minimum.... fluids should be replaced more frequently. I'm talking trans, diffs and t case. If t case was just rebuilt you should be good. Same basic maintenance as any regular car or truck nothing special.

You can open it manually. My techs did it all the time at the dealer and we never once had an issue. I did mine right after I bought it and it was pretty gummed up......

I would try a cleaning of the ol' throttle body.... if you haven't done its not a bad maintenance item to do every 30K. Not saying it will fix your problem but I would try that first..... it's cheap n' easy.

The computer will adjust to the fuel you use. While premium is "recommended " you can run 89 or 87 safely. The computer will reduce timing. I have experimented with running 87.... filling every other time with 89 and 91 and straight 91. Fuel mileage was virtually identical. I manually compute so I know. The only thing i noticed on really hot days (which we get a lot of in the south) was pinging when I accelerated hard. For me the gas pedal is like an on / off switch so 99% of the time I run premium. I didn't like the pinging and run it hard. Another benefit of living in the south is CHEAP gas.... I would run premium if you plan on towing or plan to run hard otherwise you can get away with a lower grade.

As title says I'm looking for a mirror puddle light.... I tried to take mine out yesterday and the dang plastic was brittle and the tab broke off! I'm looking for the part I highlighted in the picture below in yellow.... doesn't look like its serviced by itself. Wasn't sure if someone has a broken mirror laying around and would sell me the lens part. If I can't find one I may go hit the local u-pull it but figured I would ask here first.

Did you replace the bumper? Was it used or repop? It could be the replacement may be tweaked a little so it will take some finessing to get it to line up.....

I would bet money its the hubs... VERY common. I wouldn't change the CV's you going to get some part store crap rebuild with junk china parts. Keep the nice GM ones until they actually fail.... just my 2 cents. Easiest way to tell if hub is bad, jack up wheel end. If there is ANY play the hub is bad (just grab top and bottom of tire and if you feel any play its bad). If I recall you need a GIANT socket and shop air to get the spindle nut off....

Um you sure it's not your wheel bearings? CV joints make a clicking noise when bad or the boot is torn you'll see grease slung all over the place......

Yep no plans to sell ever. I have every piece of dealer material they offered in 2002. I even have the showroom display book and other unique documents. I had the dealer skip doing the PDI on the car so I could save every sticker and piece of paper the car was built with. It is very special to me!

Just goto Rock Auto and look up. It's an AC Delco part and you can buy from them.

Welcome! If it's a tapping type noise you can feel in the wheel it is the infamous intermediate steering shaft......

lol Ching Chong..... I work on projects where we are sourcing parts from BCC (best cost countries) and I call anything from a Chinese supplier Wang Foo. It's funny everyone has their own name for Chinese parts.....

That's a total man..... that sucks. Hopefully they have insurance! The rocker is obviously damaged and I would bet cab side frame is tweaked as well the cab side would have to be replaced.....

Who installed it the dealer or a shop? It has a warranty so make someone make it "right".
