  1. All plugs gapped at .40 and still running like crap, ordered some AC Delco wires and ngk plugs
  2. Didn't check my gap yet but that seems like a good project for after work today
  3. Performed these tests many times on a snowmobile. It's the exact same process. I'll be sure to try it out and see what I get
  4. Throttle body looked like a clogged toilet. But now my engine seems weaker after the spark plugs and wires were changed. it's not snappy and has a different tone to it
  5. Also have no cats so maybe an O2 censor took a crap?
  6. truck runs perfect then all of a sudden starts running rough idle and cutting off, run some codes and random misfire shows up and when running codes it stops and ran fine until the next day after work, replaced spark plugs and wires but still rough. Ran better while driving after that, replaced alternator anyways bearing was squealing a little but still rough idle. Checked the MAF and it was good. Oil pressure dips to nothing a few times but is good now, ran a code and had an EVAP leak somewhere. Tomorrow I'm gonna clean the throttle body and checked the air intake for leaks and nothing. Anybody got any input on what else could be causing this?
  7. Anyone have a picture of the chrome ones on a SS. Thinking about ordering a set along with a 3/4 drop kit
  8. http://anchorage.craigslist.org/ctd/4914547021.html Found a "55" for sale in alaska
  9. If you take them off you notice the decrease in HP by a lot
  10. I thought my racing stripes were good for 200hp each, we should be neck to neck after that
  11. I'll test this out again this weekend. I know where the rice rockets meet up at during the weekends. I'm sure there's a better driver in a STI in this town
  12. It was fun I'd have to say. He said he blew a head gasket before we raced, don't know why he was still driving it, then after the second race he said he messed up on the shifting
  13. True story, it turned out 2 of the guys work at the dealership I bought the truck from. One of them is a detailer and the other is a salesman
  14. Asked a Subaru wrx STI turbo to race an we go from a roll at about 15 mph then I pull a truck and a half on him and he said he's running 19lbs of boost and he was spooling his turbo and I ran away from him until we got to this truck ahead of us so we slowed down, pull off the highway and stopped. Dead stop he got the jump on me my reaction was slow but I still ended up pulling a truck length on him. Stopped to talk he had 2 other friends with him but I had my 2 15's in the back and my girlfriend weight wise. Don't tell her I said that. Truck is all stock expect CAI and no cats
  15. It does sound like that ringtone If you're interested http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00029XH36/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1423552202&sr=8-3&keywords=Wolo&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=41YoFzq0fJL&ref=plSrch I'm sure there's a way to wire it so when you close the door it comes on and when you open the door it shuts off, I'll find a way.
