  1. So got pissed and parked it. I got in today and drove and have no problems at all. Put about 100 miles on it today
  2. So like the title says, I had a new front diff installed in my denali today and within 10 miles it feels as though there’s some catching when turning and it make a bit of a grinding sound. What did I do? It’s got royal purple 75w90 in it. Is that the wrong fluid? We have the same front diffs
  3. Are the mirrors heated, motorized lenses, and have the puddle lamps? If so and they’re in good condition I’d like to get a price
  4. I'm running a corsa which is straight through with dynatech long tubes. No idea on hp probably like 10 at most by itself. Sound is amazing. 2 years later and I still can't help myself when I'm next to a wall haha. No mileage gains. I actually lost mpgs. Even when I drive well.
  5. I'm running your exact setup. Same truck And all, except stock cam lol. I love the way my corsa sport sounds.
  6. Anyone know who's this is? I saw it in Auburn, Alabama twoish weeks ago. I revved the Corsa at you with no repose lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I had mine rebuilt with every part new except half the casing and installed for $1100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Wish I would've seen this before buying my dynatechs[emoji25] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've had this problem on my truck and it turned out to be bad cab mounts. It bounced terribly at 45-55mph on any road surface. I went through everything I could think of suspension wise and found a post on gmfs mentioning body mounts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I love my dynatechs! Although if I had the choice I do it again, I'd've went with arh since it would've been cheaper to buy their mid pipes in stead of paying my shop to custom make some. Both are great quality headers though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. ^^^ this. My Denali is running the same setup and it turns some heads. I haven't finished tuning because of several large mechanical issues that keep showing up, but the truck is noticeably faster. Mpgs would be better if I could keep my foot out of it haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I've basically built mine and my friends trucks all in my front yard/driveway and I always tell them that if nothing goes wrong, I didn't do something right in the first place.
  13. Headers are installed. But that's it. Stock exhaust has been removed until Monday when the muffler shop opens to install my corsa. Had to drive home 20 minutes at 30 on the interstate so I wouldn't bust my eardrums. I know I'm a stupid teenager from Alabama, but damn that's way too much for anyone to handle. Idk how people do that on a normal basis. Also truck is running like crap with 6mpg at 30 cruising. It idles at like 300 at red lights and dies a lot. Needless to say it'll be trailered to the exhaust shop Monday. On a good note, however, it sounds cammed lol. A buddy of mine commented on the lope haha.
  14. So the bolt that stripped was caused from being impossible to remove because the header flange was broken in the middle causing it to sag and all the weight being put in this one bolt. I guess I'm just going to put a jack under the header and lift it up a bit to get some pressure off this bolt? Im not sure what else to do. How would that even happen?
  15. ....it wasn't just the head though it was about half the bolt. I also have one bolt that was completely rounded before I even touched it and another that is wanting to strip on me. I got three bolts out before I called it quits. I'm just going to take it to a shop and as long as the bill is under $600 i'm good.
  16. Swapping my new header bolts in today and broke one before I had even applied pressure to the head..... It's gonna be a long day guys. PS the engine is warm and I've been soaking the bolts with wd40 for 2 and a half weeks now.
  17. Well I installed the nvg or whatever they're called spark plugs, and also upgraded to 8.5mm plug wires. As soon as I did that is the day I noticed throttle response went to Disney world on vacation.
  18. Would the knock sensors be causing most of that?
  19. It's was about 80ish outside maybe hotter. I'm at 850ft above sea level. It was stupid humid as it has rained all day but the track was dry. It's an lq4 with only a not very well sealed k&n. Both knock sensors are throwing codes as well as a random misfire and Evap system. Maybe when everything gets fixed it'll be better.
  20. Well I used to think I had a pretty fast truck, but lately I've realized that's not true. I don't know if something is broken or if the truck is really that old with 170,000 miles. Made 5 passes last night with the fastest being a 10.98 on an 1/8th mile the truck is stick with only a k&n so I wasn't expecting much, but come on. Lifted 5.3's on 35" mud tires were doing faster. My reaction times were consistently .6-.7. The truck left faster off idle. Like a lot faster. The 10.98 came from leaving off idle and the rest were leaving off the foot brake at 1500 rpm, and those runs were averaging 11-12's. It just felt like it was bogging down super hard on me. Btw I drive a 2002 sierra Denali.
  21. Should I worry about wrapping these dynatech headers? I never though about it before. But since they're stainless steel won't they give off a ton of heat?
  22. Depends on how many broken exhaust bolts you have/how many they break
  23. I went ahead and ordered the nvg plugs, msd plug wires, plus wire boots, dynatech headers, and a corsa catback. Zippy and my exhaust guy say no cutouts. Not a bad way to drop $3k..
  24. Also what about my egr? Do I keep that? Or do I have to get rid of it? And if so, how?
  25. I was just worried about the wires touching the headers? Is that a problem with dynatechs? Also just realized the 2.5 in thing. I'll definitely be going the cutouts route now. Just have to figure out plug wire situation.
