The 05 SS a few things changed and upgraded, they use electric fans for cooling and a new master cylinder with a power booster or something. Reading up here and internet in 05 the drive shaft is bigger, the rear end is a 14 not 12 and rotors are 10" from a 9"

i just put Belltech's on my front and back of my SS, the front one is a bit bigger than stock. john

Started by lowering by using new torsion bar keys and rear shackles for a 2"drop. Not happy with that, i got Belteck 2" drop spindles and kept 2"drop keys on, at the back I kept the 2" drop shackles on and did the front hangers 2"-3" My alignment guy knows his stuff and made perfect , got a bigger sway bar in the front and added one too rear. Handles nice

Any problems with your valve stems leaking, got new tires on mine and one rim was leaking. Took it back and they couldn't seal it Checked this faithful sight, and using Bead Sealer worked great. Tire shop never heard of that method.

Still in 2005 mine was 39,400 + tax from original bill of sale that was a lot of coin then.

They must have made a lot of those, seen at least 10 in last 3 years

yes if options say M32 that was 4L65 and all 05s were upgraded bigger rear end, bigger drive shaft even disc brakes were upgraded to tahoe size i believe.. -
