    Im concerned

Yes the gear ratio's and weight at 40 - 45 won't beat much Try a slower start so your truck will drop into first gear then you'll get a better start.

    Newbie from Canada

Nice find ..... I was reading somewhere the cruise control on silverado's gets done in from the wires being pinched on steering column below lever. The adjustable steer wheel and factory assembly cause wires to pinch and short out on frame. Try checking there

What did you do to your SS today?

I always jump in and drive mine in good weather, but roads are so poor, patch repair on asphalt make road very bumpy i've bottomed out a couple times Oh well planning for a paint job soon

    2006 SS RPO code

B4U would look nice on a licence plate, only SS owners would know what that stands for

I believe the front hangers are easy to get. They are off of any 6 bolt - ½ ton truck if you have rear shackles they will drop the 2 from stock height

I'm looking for my first Silverado SS

The 05 SS a few things changed and upgraded, they use electric fans for cooling and a new master cylinder with a power booster or something. Reading up here and internet in 05 the drive shaft is bigger, the rear end is a 14 not 12 and rotors are 10" from a 9"
