  1. Those are pretty cool. I always wanted to build one of those.
  2. If its a single cab 2wd you lose IMO.
  3. I dont know if I would trust a kit that old.
  4. Repost it. I would love to see this. Aren't those things supposed to run like high 13s stock? I have heard some in the 13s stock and some in the 15s stock LOL. Sounds like they are all over the place. 10yo truck taking out the bad boy Dodge.
  5. I have heard two different things on these kits, some people love them and others say that the noids stick. Anyone here have experience with them? I was thinking about the nitrous express kit new, but I see a couple Zex kits used for sale for half the price.
  6. I ran the slp loudmouth I's for years, with longtubes and no cats, it was mean, loud, and nasty. LOL I never had any drone though, I later added a couple borla resonated tips that brought the tone down alot. Thats just one of many exhaust I have ran over the years. Can't pass anyone at WOT though, you will scare the crap out of them.
  7. I bought mine from craigslist for $180 complete out the rear kit with tips. Took me about a year to work the deal though, guy kept backing out and I didn't want to pay full price for a kit when my borla catback was perfectly fine. Finally after I had given up, his girlfriend text me and says he was ready to sell it for $350. I talked him down to $180, had to drive two hours one way but it was worth it.
  8. You got alot of power too. LOL And there are G8 6 bangers running around, but with the power your making the V8 cars shouldn't be much of a problem. There are some badass modded G8s out there though.
  9. I have ran mine at full street weight and I have ran it stripped down. Its great seeing what you can get out of it with the same mods by just loosing a few hundred pounds off the truck. And by knowing what it will run at the track at street weight doesn't always mean you can hit those times on the street. Alot of times there is trash or road grime on the street, so you would have a tough time hitting your track times there.

    Ram kill

Nice kill. Those superbees and daytonas, LOL, they think those decals they added to the truck added horsepower.

    When racing?

I just leave mine in Drive. I have tried all different ways, but it seems the most consistent just leaving it in drive.
  12. Yes it is. Truck was orignally black, not my first choice of colors but was happy with it. About a year or so into ownership, the driver side was hit on both doors by a lady turning into the parking spot next to me. This gave me the chance to get it painted in the silver birch color that I was seeing every now and then on the regular silverados(boy that changed quickly, silver trucks were everywhere not long after). The black paint was in horrible condition from me not washing it properly, swirls marks and scratchs all over it, and the silver color doesn't show dust or road grime near as bad.
  13. Been looking at these cars lately, I think that would make a good daily driver, keep the truck for truck duties. Good looking cars that are pretty dang quick.
  14. Regular Cab rams are pretty quick, especially on a top end run. Go from a dig and you can usually beat them in the quarter mile, but there are alot of factory freaks out there and they run hard.
  15. New guy here, literally. My name is Guy. LOL. Got a 2003 silver birch SS with just an intake and exhaust. Its a very mild truck, but fun to drive.
  16. everything I have seen on them shows they are quick. Keep it short and you may have a chance before it builds boost, let the AWD work for you.
