Bump!
-
Thinking about buying the kit or selling your truck?
-
Yeah its Richards. I am selling the truck, as of right now.
-
Seeing if there is any interest in my coilover conversion kit, it includes everything and will give about a 2 inch drop in the front. Looking to get $600. Includes upgraded sway bar bushings as well.
-
Thanks! Has anyone run long tubes into a 3 to 2.5 reducer to the stock y pipe?
-
I was thinking pacesetter long tubes l, custom 3 inch exhaust to a dynomax VT muffler
-
I'm thinking of getting some long tube headers. What is the quietest exhaust I could run with the headers?

Looking for $1000 plus shipping. They are in very good condition. I would estimate $150-200 to ship? Here's some photos. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOEXPKI2Im1vZMYOdn2yVL2q-otFJFd8E0L_T2glUtEIDfMVmW0cfyRJXSR1YZ3xA?key=cTlOVThuaVJQam12S0hEdW9hMlM5blFwVkRYU3lR

Stall converter without shift kit?

Also, with the transmission cooler do I need the thermal bypass? I currently live in Georgia, but I'm in the military so I never know where I might move -
I want to upgrade my transmission/seat of the pants factor. I was thinking about a 3000-3200 TC from Circle D. Found here, http://www.circledspecialties.com/p-6-gm-278mm-hp-4l60-ls-torque-converter.aspx To go along with that I was going to use a Tru-cool 40k tranny cooler, Corvette servo and a super servo. Found here, http://www.oregonperformancetransmission.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=OPTI&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=SUP-K034 I wasn't planning on using a shift kit due to the fact that I don't want my shifts too firm. Would this be a good set up? Im trying to build it so its fun but not annoying.

All you have to do is disconnect the steering shaft. Its a 14mm bolt I believe. Then jerk it off. Push the upper part of the shaft in and out of the firewall.
-
Thanks, for the info. After hearing thar, I think I'm going to go with the "normal" kit. Good insight, I didn't even consider those possibilities.
-
What do you mean? It was loose? Did you contact Richard about the issue?
-
Awesome! What set up did you go with? I'm about to buy the Stud Top kit, the DS 401 shocks, with 10 inch Eibach Springs at 800lbs.
-
Has anyone done the Coilover Conversion that member Atomic (Richard) offers. I'm about to order a set but I wanted to see if anyone on here has taken the plunge yet. I did a 2/2 drop with spindles and the ride quality is still unacceptable (Yes, I used Belltech lowering shocks) Here is the link. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/85733-99-07-4wd-front-coilover-conversion/ Im about to order the stud top with 10 inch eibach springs.

WTB: Cold Air Intake and any other Performance Mods

Get a tune stock? I was thinking intake, headers, stall, then tune -
Primarily looking to buy a CAI, preferably a Volant. I'm also open to buying any other mods, such as LT headers or an intake.
