Putting in out there, it's a shame but not in a big hurry. Could keep both but the fleet can only get so big. 107k on the clock. Owned it for 6 years in stock form. Simple mods in last 6 months, volant power core, 160 thermostat, zippy tune, shift kit, billet servos,custom oil cooler lines, try cool 40k New in box, dynomax ultra flow, New nitto 420s, gm brake pads and rotors, battery, belts, msd wires, delco plugs, front kicker speakers, fresh tranny, diff and royal purple oil. Driveshaft seal replaced, washed weekly, waxed every 6, exterior 9 out of 10, interior 10, no issues at all, well maintained. Sucks to see it go but making room for the new one. Older thread but figured I would chime in. Thanks to sschevyss and his video I just put my dynomax ultra flow on today. After running magnaflow on everything I have ever owned figured I would try something new. The dynomax 17554 is pretty damn loud, sounds really good but will take some getting used to it. Its only gonna get louder so we shall see if I still like it down the road but for day one I'm pretty excited.

Indeed but I think our trucks need the savings up front mostly and some in the middle. Try to keep the weight balanced, at least that's my thought behind it. Before I bought the SS I had an 04 Cts v and she was balanced to perfection right off the showroom floor. Moved to AZ and needed a truck. Came back to CA and miss the V but the SS has grown on me.

Yeah seems like a pipe dream,i am running a 2wd so that helps. Its a truck not a car which I often remind myself. Maybe if I made the truck panels out of carbon fiber 4500 might be achieved:)

I read a ton of articles claiming the curb weight on these so I was curious and finally got it weighed. In curious if anyone made to around 4500?

Thank you guys for the reponse, I know the AWD does weigh more. Trying to see who's got some lower weight numbers and how they got there. A pig is a pig, just wasn't sure if that scale was correct or not. Thanks again

Figured I would share this info. Took my 2006 to the scales today, with a half tank of gas, 170lb person in the truck, hitch and spare deleted I weighed in at 5160. So without a body in the truck she under 5k. Was pretty surprised with that. Anybody else weighed in?

Does anybody know what people have paid for the radiator piece in the past?

Don't quote me but I think they are 3/8. Maybe someone can chime in that knows for sure. The fittings that came with my tru cool are 3/8.
