  1. Yes sir. That way I can change colors one side at a time. I have been married for 14 years so I need some variety in my life!
  2. Yeah the directions say that anywhere in the threaded range will work. Those threads are like 3" so I am just worried about it. Can you take a picture of where your bracket is mounted to the frame if you can get your phone behind the wheel. And yes it's plasti-dip. "
  3. I think you misunderstood me. I said tailpipes not tips. I need the whole pipe from the muffler out behind the tires. I would like for both sides.
  4. Nah no need for all that. I was just going to install the muffler and new tailpipes. The whole catback is crazy like $600 for like one more pipe
  5. It is flat blue here is some other pics of the truck as it sits now, all this has been done in the last 3 months.I really want to fix that bumper too, I need to try bending it down somehow, but might just be easier to buy a new one, but not sure if it is the bumper or the brackets. Oh also forgot to post a picture of that ISS spoiler I got off of Ismael from this forum.
  6. Actually these might be better First one is before I raised it back up 1". Not sure If I have the same amount of gas in each picture though. Should I lower it back down before I install the bags or maybe wait till after that way if it raises the truck up I can drop it back down?
  7. I did a 2/4 lowering kit on my truck, (non SS) It made the rear so low that I had to raise it back up a 1" with the shackles. So now it looks pretty level to me. Problem is I bottom out on the frame all the time over bumps and such, and I need to tow a few things, like my golfcart and just random crap I put in the bed. So I bought some airlift slamair bags. The thing is they come with this white thing for measuring where the brackets will go. Well this thing is adjustable and they say that it will work anywhere in that range. Well I be it will work, but I don't want the bags to raise my truck up when I am not carrying anything, I just want them to provide that extra support so I don't bottom out. Has anyone installed this kit, and how did you measure the location or did you end up having problems with 10psi raising the truck? Here is a picture of how it sits now.
  8. How did this work out for you? I have a 4" drop in the rear and my truck bottoms out all the time on the frame. Going to install these helper bags I picked up to help with it.
  9. I want to upgrade my exhaust on my 5.3 to the 18" Magnaflow with the si/do. But I would like the pipes to exit behind the rear wheels either straight out or 45. The only tailpipes that I seem to be able to find are the straight under the bumper ones. Does anyone know where I can get the other ones? or should I buy the straight out ones and cut them? I figure with coupons for advanceauto I can get the muffler and the tailpipes for $100. thanks.
  10. I am right accross the bridge in NJ I have a lt not a ss, so I have no clue. Is the stock exhaust dual?
  11. I ordered my wing from Isreal , and it was here in 2 days, fits great and looks great, took me about 5 minutes to drill the holes and bolt it on. Just the tailgate part that is. I haven't decided on the ends yet, but I will probably just use the tape method. I had a few questions during the install and texted Isreal and he answered them all immediately. Great customer service if you ask me, this guy is doing the community a favor, he made one of these wings for whatever and now everyone wants one and he is willing to make them. For the amount of work he probably put into making the mold and making each wing, his price and service is a steal.
  12. I will be doing the work my self, and sanding is nothing, as long as I don't have to start glassing it will be fine, I will sand it and paint it. $165 vs $500 pretty easy decision for me. I pm'ed that guy but he probably doesn't come on here, I will try other means also. Thanks for the input though.
  13. That link is for the brackets, I think I am going to use 3m tape for the little wings
  14. Can someone point me in the direction of a good seller. Also do I need to drill holes in the outside of the bed to install this? I already had the stock black bolt on wing, and I bought the street scenes one but the tape it came with is garbage and now I think I want the iss one instead. Thanks.
  15. Ok So I am going to paint my silverado blue and I want to do a white stripe of some sort on it. I was thinking about going with rally stripes but I also like side stripes. I really like the orange flame stripe that they have on the f-150 hd versions, But I am not so sure I could recreate that. Can you guys give me some idea's? Post some pictures if you can. Thanks.
