  1. I chased REP problems for over a year, I rewired the TB harness and switched TB's all of these didn't help, It would go back into limp mode every couple of weeks. After pulling the intake manifold and cleaning the electrical grounds by the valley cover and back of the block and adding dielectric grease the issue has not come back up in over 2 years.
  2. I do, what part of Utah are you moving to? There are a few SSS trucks out here, mostly in the Salt Lake valley.
  3. The one I bought off ksl last year was on there for over 3 months and I was told I was the first one to ask about it so I'd bet your chances are pretty good.
  4. Here is a local one that's been on KSL for a while, looks like mine and I've liked it so far. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=31769854&cat=&lpid=&search=silverado%20hood&ad_cid=5
  5. They were similar to mine when stock. Let me know next time you're out there, I'd like to run mine with the new set up.
  6. I was there last night and saw you make your passes, I should have stopped by in the pits and said hello.
  7. Yes I do, I'm out in West Jordan
  8. The best I could manage when stock was 7.9, but it was around 70 deg outside. Gotta love Utah
  9. I'd be interested in the intake cover if bassmaster doesn't take it.
  10. New in box TSP 224/224 .581/.581 112 LSA, I want to go with something bigger $350 OBO
  11. I'm thinking you should edit your first post to remove your paypal info
  12. Really? I just got mine today. I guess he didn't wanna make the drive up to Ogden The mail man was really good to me today
  13. Does the 3600 do ok on the street? I was leaning towards a 2500-3000 just because mine sees more daily driving duty and limited track time. I would like to run an entire setup similar to yours. How do you like the powerband? It is really streetable? I have been doing some reading and I think it was in Hot Rod magazine they ran dyno numbers with 243s vs 823s both stock and the 243s were better until about 3k and then the 823s really took off.
  14. Which throttle body would you suggest? I've read about some LS3 throttle bodies going into rep mode also but I'm not sure if it was for that exact same issue.
  15. They come up for sale on PT.net every once and a while. I was able to get mine for $95 on there a few weeks back or SDPC https://sdparts.com/node/779596 if you want to pay a little extra
  16. I picked up a set of 243's during the week and this weekend I ended up getting an LY6 with 823's. I currently have a TBSS intake manifold that I was planning on using with the 243's but now I'm considering using the 823's with the intake off of the LY6. Which setup would be better to run, I've heard nothing but good things from both setups. My goals for the truck are to make good low end power because it's my DD, I plan on putting in a tsp 220r while I'm installing the heads and intake.
  17. Have you done the swap? I read mixed results from people that say the Vette FPR works and others that say you need an adjustable FPR.
  18. The bypass is super easy. http://www.lingenfelter.com/sites/lpe/files/attachments/L300145297%20LS1_LS6%20throttle%20body%20coolant%20bypass%20kit%20v1.1.pdf
  19. I did, it wasn't difficult. there's three bolts in the font behind the power steering pulley and one bracket on the back that's bolted to the cylinder head I believe, and one line from the steering box and that's it. I've heard you can just remove the line that goes to the pump to the gear box from underneath but I swapped out my pump for a HD pump so I didn't even try.
  20. If you swap to the hydroboost it will give you an open port on the back of the manifold. I bought a complete TBSS intake off of pt.net a little while back and will be doing the swap sometime in the near future and that's what I was thinking about doing.
