Are the coil packs still for sale?
-
I am doing a cam swap in the near future and would like to do some 243's to up my compression while im in there. If anyone has or knows anyone tryin to sell some please please please contact me.
-
Im looking for some 243's as well if anyone knows someone trying to get rid of them. Those suckers are hard to come by. And remember if you get them milled you need new push rods too. Just something to ponder on while youre thinking about it.

Im running into a similar situation in the near future...my SSS has 150k on it and still running strong, I have new long tubes and a cam goin in it, so I was looking into getting heads too just because I know im gonna have studs snap off and they have so many miles on them. Have any of you guys looked into swapping for 243's?
-
Do you have the stock 243 cylinder heads? shoot me a ball park price if so

Texas Speed has 1 3/4" Stainless long tubes CHEAP!! Just got mine in the other day and I have a flowmaster 40 series. It sounds amazing, you cant go wrong with that. Cant wait to see how it sounds after the headers and cam go on.

Better find a nice big open parking lot and test it out lol Im in ohio and I havent seen this at all even in the snow so I really dont think its a factory option, even in 03' and 04's

I've just recently had the same issue with my SS and from all the research I've done you are pretty fortunate that your throttle body lasted as long as it did. I replaced mine and it still tripped P1516 and I traced it back to a loose ground on the back of the passenger side cylinder head. Pull the ground, clean it up and put it back on with a lock washer and if you still have issues there is a yellow wire in the TAC connector that tends to get weak and break off under the insulated layer so you have no way of knowing. If the ground doesnt fix it then replace your TAC connector harness. Hope this helps.
