  1. also, does the oem acdelco water pump have a plastic or metal impellar? is there a brand that someone would suggest if not that one? i never skimp out on water pumps so just want to make sure i get the best one i can get
  2. Hey guys,i have tried searching but I am having some trouble finding the exact water pump for my 03' SS. looks like they have a couple different versions that have different thermostat housing setups? I need to know what the part number for the pump & thermo is for the 03' and if i will need any additional seals/gaskets that are not included with the pump. My PS pump just started growling too so figured i would change that at the same time and would also like to know the part number for that w/ reservoir if anyone has it? Thanks in advance for the help!
  3. thanks for the compliments! i agree it would be nice if they matched the ducts & badges, might have to make that one of my next projects
  4. ooops sorry, I accidentally put this in the for sale section. mods feel free to move! thank you
  5. So I got my SS end of last year with some les schwab 17" specials on it and knew as soon as summer came around i would have to get new "correct" size wheels and tires so after about 2 months of hunting for an oem set of ss wheels and coming up empty handed ( or paying about 2k just for the wheels, which i dont have lol ) I pretty much gave up and started looking at other options and came accross the tahoe ltz wheels on clist and picked them up. After searching the internet for what seemed like days i couldnt find but 1 or 2 crappy pics of a silverado ss with ltz wheels so heres mine with them mounted for any one thats considering it. my only gripe is that the offset is higher on the ltz so they stick in about a half inch more than the stock ss wheel but not enough to look goofy imho. anyways heres pics, enjoy. old wheels that came with it - New ltz's
  6. well a little update- This past week i replaced both front hubs w/ Timken units and that sure enough fixed the abs light always on issue. The driver side had about 1/8-1/4 of play, pretty scary! easiest wheel bearing/hub job ive ever done only took a couple hours. While i was there i replaced the front rotors & pads which it also needed badly I also replaced the oil w/ mobil 1 syn 5w30, both belts, NGK plugs and a new fuel filter. still want to run through and change/flush all fluids here shortly but got a good start on it. I decided to dedicate those ugly les schwab specials that came on it as just winter wheels and got some brand new cooper m/s that are slaying this PNW winter!
  7. perfect! thanks for the great info guys this will be plenty to keep me busy for a bit
  8. on it, what do you reccomend for fluid? type and weight? do you know where can i find the fluid capacitys? thanks man
  9. great info, thanks! Funny you mention wheel hubs as my LF is about ready to fall of so that was the first and only thing ive ordered so far, got 2 timken units so i can knock out both fronts at the same time. abs light is on all the time and im hoping its related to the worn out hub, makes sense but well see when new one are installed if it fixes it or not. I had my fingers crossed it was chain, thats nice.out of curiousity what is the factory temp on the t stat? benefits of the 160*? ill grab them plugs and fuel/air filters today, thanks again for the info
  10. I just picked up the SS a few days ago and it has 130k w/ no mateinence records ( since i got it from a dealer ) so im wondering what the first things to check are? Basically I want to run through and give it a complete tune up since im a nazi about matenience and i know that on my bmw it hates certain spark plugs and will run great on other ones, is this the case with this truck? what plugs should i run and what "name brand" is reputable to use for these trucks? id rather get the right stuff first then trust some guy at the auto store... also, what are the high wear items on these trucks that need replaced often or at my amount of miles? what usualy leaks first? might be a dumb ? but do they have timing belts or chains? any advice tips would be appreciated! thanks Josh
  11. good eye spy! lol yea thats my wife, she's an attention whore but a fun ride! I work on/build bmws so this is actually a 325i thats built front to back and currently has a stroker engine sitting on a stand getting built for it

I'm using the bed too much to haul stuff to get to use this often enough to justify keeping it. Its black in color and is in great overall condition with some minor scratches that more than likely would buff out since there real light. There are some cracks in the paint around the locks that i tried to get a picture of that arent to noticeable until your real close and looking at it. I will include all the Hardware, mounts bolts etc for install. Does come with shocks but 1 needs replaced . Asking 750 or best offer, picked up in Cd'A ID. thank you should fit any standard size bed ( 6.5" short bed" ) chevrolet silverado's and sierra's and lots more i just dont know all the fitments, sorry.
