  1. Besides contacting your PD and all the good ideas everyone else had, file complaints about the d*ck everywhere you can. Here are a few to get you started if you want... Consumer Affairs Complaint Report Page Complaints.com Consumer Sentinel Let EVERYONE know what he did, hopefully it will do someone some good in the future if it doesn't help you too. I'm really sorry to hear that you had to go through this. It always sucks when good people get screwed.
  2. You guys have probably seen this..but just in case you haven't..... Carbage
  3. Happy Father's Day to all you dads and soon-to-be dads!! Anyone get anything cool???
  4. Jesus God Almighty...this is the most disgusting topic I've seen so far. I HATE spiders with a passion. And to add to that we just bought a house that has an "infestation" of them according to Orkin. They've been out like 3 times and can't seem to solve the problem. It's to the point that I won't finish unpacking or open any cabinets until it's fixed. We have grandaddy long legs, black widows and some other weird jumping ugly mofo. Thank God for Raid!
  5. LOL...you know I'm a girl right Stitches??
  6. They absolutely do have a box marked warning...how often LAPD uses it is another story. I don't know where you're from, it's obviously somewhere that your police forces aren't completely and totally corrupt from being overworked, underpaid..and the worst of it all..just plain stupid, mean and lazy. When I look at this and see that LAPD issued the ticket and that it was a motorcyle cop I immediately think "bullsh*t" on it because cops out here are definitely not the same as cops other places. Everywhere has bad ones...we just seem to have the most of them. Do you know that where I live, the asian gangs have paid off the cops to just not come when called 90% of the time? That's what we deal with, so maybe you understand my point now when I say I have a really hard time believing that it was anyting other than just plain CRAP.
  7. Stitches, I completely understand what your point is there...but I also disagree on a couple of things. I know that being in law enforcement is one of the toughest jobs on the planet, but I think you made a couple of assumptions. For one, just because she described herself as a Cherokee medicine woman doesn't mean that she's going to use the race card, it's not always like that so to say thats what she's doing isn't fair. And plus, the article said that they were cracking down on people who "improperly cross streets" and I don't see how taking too long because your elderly is not the correct way to cross a street. I fail to see how the officer is "just doing his job." I could understand if someone was crossing against a light, or waiting too long to cross and then going anyways, thereby holding up traffic. Both of those would be grounds for a citation I'm sure. But being too old to go fast...no way.
  8. Speaking of coke, crack, and coffee together...has anyone tried that new Coca Cola "Blak" drink that they have? I saw it at the grocery store a couple of nights ago, but couldn't bring myself to try it, it just doesn't sound good to me. It's Coke with coffee in it...talk about a buzz.... Coca Cola Blak
  9. I'm a Quad Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato w/ Extra Caramel chic. I go every morning that I'm at work, so that's 6 days a week....even sometimes at night too. I think it's safe to say that I'm a coffee addict, but it doesn't help when there's one directly across the street from where I work and only 1/2 a block from where I live. It's shameful I know...almost 5 bux for a cup of coffee
  10. I dunno what this officer was thinking, but he definitely wasn't protecting and he surely wasn't serving. If he was so concerned, he should have helped her instead of ticketing her!
  11. Dylan, let me first say that I was NOT insulting you here...if I had wanted to do that it would have been blatantly obvious. And again, as I said way back when...I wasn't insulting your wife at all, I think she's very sweet. I told you that about a hundred times so please drop the bullshit about "the insults I threw around." Hell, I even went so far as to APOLOGIZE for that in an attempt to keep the peace. Nowhere in this post did I say anything negative towards you and if you don't care to acknowledge me or my posts then DON'T...but don't come on here and make little comments about not doing it and then go down that very road. I was simply questioning why you would do say something like that when it seems like such an insult to people here. And just like you were expressing an opinion over there (and might I add want to be respected for it) I did the same here. I wasn't nasty in what I said to you, so I would very much appreciate it if you weren't with me.
  12. I'm not trying to start anything here...but this REALLY bothered me. I want to say that this is in no way me trying to start sh*t with you Dylan, but I think it's CHILDISH that you would do this. Just because someone has a difference of opinion doesn't make them one dimensional, nor does it make their opinion wrong. You failed to mention in your rant that a lot of people that replied actually said they liked it, almost the majority. I don't see the point of going over there and posting that, you weren't looking for anything positive that's for sure. You had to know that if you posted something like that you'd get nothing but negativity from it, and that it would be giving people a negative view about the SSS site AND the people on it.
  13. HA! My husband constantly yelled at me to "SLOW DOWN DAMMIT" I miss the looks on guy's faces when they found out they just got their butt handed to them by a chic! I dunno how much longer I can live without buying another SS Seems like everywhere I look I see them now, I keep telling the hubby that it's a message..a SIGN...that I'm supposed to have another one, a silver one at that!
  14. Power or not...that thing is ugly. Chevy should have stepped it up on the truck, or spent more time on the Camaro coming out sooner, not stuck more SS badging on something that didn't really need or deserve it. Next it'll be an Aveo SS, with *whoa watch out*... 125 horsepower
  15. I don't really know yet. I really want another SS, I went to look at them last weekend and got really really sad sitting in a new silver one, but I think I'm a little too traumatized by my experiences to get another one. So I'll just admire (read: drool over) you guys' trucks. I tend to want things that other people don't have, and there's not much of that out there right now. I need to stay a little practical, me and the husband are saving for a house, but I can't seem to find anything that gives me "that feeling." It's "that feeling" that makes me wanna buy something, and I still don't get it with anythng other than the SS I've looked at everything from SRT/8's to Cayman's to G35's and can't find anything that grabs me. So I dunno, I really...really..really just have no clue. Smartass for sure!
