    Well I go to the garage today and find a puddle of transmission fluid on the ground. Its leaking in between the trans and the transfer case. So im guessing its a seal? Does the trans have to be taken out to fix this!? I have the worst luck!!

    Yea it's fine. I drove mine to the exhaust shop then an hr away. Its not gonna hurt anything. With the obx u will have a couple o2 holes to fill. I used the exhaust clamps until I got the rhe shop then had them welded.

    Well I bought mine from a buddy that had it in his camaro. Its a single disc an he wanted multi.

    Rev up the rpms today an out it in reverse an she moves on her own...but still have to give it 1/4 throttle in drive. ..hope its the tune!!

    I just did the 4l80e swap on my truck. I cant get it tuned until next week but needed to move it out of the garage. I have a 3600 circle d converter. Should it take me almost half throttle before it moves? Or is that just because its not tuned for the 80 and stall?

    I got a circle d and ended up not needing the spacer. I have one for sell if anybody needs one.

    I talked to him about it. He said that when he did his 80e swap in his camaro that he didnt like how hpt would unlock when letting off the throttle but that was a couple years ago. I told him that they have fixed that now. I really want zippy to tune my truck but dont know how i would get a data log to you..

    had to have the front driveshaft remade because the diameter is too big it hits the shift linkage...bad luck!!

      His. I gave him corrext lengths. He just used wrong tubing. Pickin up the new one today!

    My tuner wants me to do the relay mod for the 80e swap. He said that he did them both in his camaro and he prefers the 80e relay mod. I just want to know the benefits or what you think I should do. He can do either but instead of doing the segement swap, he recommended doing the relay mod.

    dropped my driveshafts off for the 4l80e swap!! Can't wait been down since 12-24!!!

      My trouble is going to be that all Ive driven for 20 years is trucks. Anything else feels weird.

      I've got about 2600 in it but that's with trans cooler, AN fittings, shift kit,$900 trans, pressloc hose, paying $400 for removal of my trans and putting it in cause I was working. But you should be able to do it for around 2k.

    Might want to check with Time2Kill. That is where I bought mine from. If you buy one brand new its going to be expensive.

    YEA...nobody seems to remember the correct measurements for the rear lol but I know the 2500 for the front haha Yea just shoot him a PM

    I just want to know all the lengths to decrease downtime. So I dont have to wait until the trans and everything is in before I can measure for shafts.
