    If you have a tonneau and you put it in the bed won't it kind of muffle it? I know you're not going to make it to where you can't hear that loud horn but still lol

    I still have to finish the headlights but here is a quick preview.

    Well I ended up doing just the turn signals for right now. I was just going to black out the amber parts and paint the black edge pieces, but when I masked it off so It didn't spray on the chrome the tape stuck and pulled some of the chrome off where it had been bubbled up...soooooo I just decided to paint the whole piece black. I will post up pics when I get a chance. I still have to finish the headlights but i'm going to try to be more careful when I mask the lights off. I actually need the chrome on the headlights so it's not dim lol

    But does it have a gaurantee on the box!?

    I didn't mean for this to turn into a big legal deal. I just wanted to see if yall thought it would look good all black....not just if I should for legal reasons. Would it look good with the turn signals black with the headlight still chrome?

    he told me he had to look at it before he gave me a price cause there were a couple that weren't worth as much. An just so happened that mine wasn't the one that was worth alot...go figure...so I kept it. Still have them in my garage collecting dust.

    I was going to take apart my lights and paint my amber lenses black. I was wondering if yall think it would look good If i painted the turn signals/drl all the way black. ambers..chrome and all? I was going to leave the chrome in the headlights and just paint the amber lenses. Do you think this would look good or should i just stick to painting the ambers black?

    They think it might have been from the low cars exhaust and the dry grass.

I would have been extremely upset if I would have came out to my truck burned down! Other than that It was a good day of racing and alot of amazing cars in the car show.

    Finally got the truck running after the 80e swap. Been so long I cant tell if its faster or slower lol

      thats good. you get it to quit leaking. is the trans moving better now with a tune?

      Trans is running 100% better with the tune! Still a small drip. I'm going to take it back out when I have time.

    It could be the load part. I used a jack to lift it up in place, but after I got it in place with the bolts in and nuts started then I removed the jack so I could get to the nuts since I was doing it with the truck on the ground while laying on my back.

      some places will not take them due to the amount of people stealing them.

      Depends on where you are located. are local scrap yard takes them. Also around here there are some add's on CL on guys wanting to buy them from you.

    The transmission is the only thing sitting on the crossmember tho. That shouldn't have any affect on the transfer case because its being held up by the transmission.

    Well I replaced it with a gasket and it went from a big dripping leak to a barely dripping leak. still in the same spot. I don't know what else to do....ugh!!

    It wasn't too much fluid. It was a slow drip. 1/4 of a quart is about right. It barely covered the bottom of my oil pan. Im sure its just the gasket because I didn't put one on and I didn't even put any rtv.

    It probably is in limp mode seeing how i lost 3rd and 4th gear before I did the swap. Thanks for all the helpful hints guys. I don't know why I didn't put the gasket in between the t-case and transmission..rookie mistake lol Oh well! Guess you learn from your mistakes!! Good thing I have you guys to set me straight!

    Either way I don't think there is supposed to be trans fluid in the dry space between the transmission and transfer case.
