  1. Norcal SS, thanks for reply, you are the suspension guru!
  2. Does Belltech make different height shocks? Thought the stock height could be used on up to 4" drop?
  3. Belltech Street performance.
  4. Dings, dents, chips, scratches, etc. -the price of using public roads & parking lots. Figure periodic repair in budget as fact of life. Don't like it & inconsiderate people drive us crazy, but fact of life. Wonder the wisdom of another truck, insurance, maintenance, etc verses repair of door ding.
  5. Believe Street Scene offers a rear pan that already has notches -kinda matches the front bumper brake ducts. At least you wouldn't destroy a good SS rear bumper & can always change back if don't like. Just a thought.
  6. Dab of silicone chalk such as kitchen & bath that does not harden to each of the tabs & proper alignment of cap w valve stem should be effective.
  7. Think you got a reasonable deal & were taken care of efficiently by the dealer. Remanufactured beats rebuilt in my opinion, Jasper is probably most well known & has warranty. Not aware of tail shaft housing being common problem, but do believe fluids are the key to longevity. Might consider fluid change after 5k mi. of break in. Lucky didn't get stranded & have additional towing bill. Good luck, hope truck is good for another 150k mi.
  8. It's your truck & your wheels, do what you want with them!
  9. Believe ABS module is same but different location -5.3 would be under hood by master cylinder, SS on frame under driver's seat. You can repair that module yourself w soldering -several good youtube videos regarding -or can send off for ~$70 repair w rapid turn around time & can drive SS w/o module but cover all connections/attachments. Google "ABS module" & will get wealth of info as well as videos. Good luck w repair.
  10. Called yesterday, their manufacturer stopped, they are going to make in house in 6-8 mo.
  11. Buy rebuilt, not aware of any upgrade. Redhead is good rebuilt unit, google it.
  12. Called STSlids today, say they will be producing this cover in 6-8 mo. Their present manufacturer stopped producing, they are gearing up to produce themselves as they used to do. In the meantime, might consider the Craftec tonneau as temporary.
  13. Look at the frame, does not cover the stake holes, skinny frame, not the most desirable.
