yeah ls1/ls2 stage II 660 lift is the one I was looking at along with springs and retainers. Might really be more than I need at this point.

Just wondering if anyone has used any Brain Tooley cams and if so which one in a stock sss.

ok thanks aldofashow

Anyone know which nuts and bolts to loosen to adjust front bumper on 05 ss? Its not real bad but just irritates me to no end, its out of adjustment on passenger side.

Alright thanks Doughty i appreciate the info i might dive into this myself sometime soon.

Ok, I will check the hub and see what I can see there Johnny. What did it cost you to have the chain replaced Doughty08? Or did you do it yourself?

I have been hearing a snap or pop noise from the drivers side of my 05 awd ss, so I replaced all control arms and ball joints thinking it was a ball joint, I also put on some beltech 2'' drop spindles. Well the noise is still there every now and then if turning hard left at slow speed, taking off from a stop sign (light) as well as at about 15 mph and putting the skinny pedal to the floor. This is the strange part, sometimes when I start it the whole truck will move forward until all slack is gone from drivetrain and it will make a snap noise from drivers side. So if anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks all

Well I received a SLP cai from the clause this Christmas only to find out it won't fit! The mass air flow sensor is way to big on the end that goes closest to the filter. It already has a k&n on it but there is no shroud or case for the filter so its out there in the open and hits part of the radiator framing or headlight frame work. Now the K&N filter fits the mass air sensor like it should but is way to big for the slp one. I called Delphi and found out it is the correct maf but is an outdated model. Sounded kinda strange to me but just curious if anyone has an idea to solve this? I know I could get a new maf but is there a way this can come apart with out hurting it?

Y'all are damn right for sure!

My wife about a month ago opened her car door the wind caught it and put a nice dent in the passenger side fender of my sss! I was pissed but hey it was an accident and she about cried. lol so its all good! On the other hand years ago my ole man had a 69 z28 he and my mom were leaving a bar as they walked out he saw a lady get out of her car and put a nice dent in his fender. Well, as the 6'2 ole mans blood began to boil he waited for the dumb ass to enter the bar, then with his cowboy booted foot he kicked the front fender of he her car in! he and my mom left the bar he said with a fairly good angry grin on his face! lol sorry for such a long story but hey bitch deserved all of that I think!

I will give that a shot first it could be the problem and that's an easy fix. -

Maybe I will start with the shaft first and see if I jerk it off if that helps. Lol -

Hey thanks for that advice blown346! I'm no ace mechanic but that all sounds logical to me. That's probably what I will do is take it somewhere and see if they can tell me what the noise is and fix it myself.
