  1. Nice Tank Jake! one of my friends posted that on my facebook page a couple months ago.
  2. I recently started doing a 1-2% daily water change and carbon dosing my NO3 & Po4 are now reading 0.0 and 0.02
  3. Were I live, (Pasco County, Florida) we don't have vehicle inspections.
  4. Thanks guys! Yea I've been driving a black car since I started driving, my first was a 1988 Pontiac Grand Am GT, after that car I had a 1994 Camaro Z28 SS I wish I still had that car. I love to detail them, and since I already have a reverse osmosis/ deionization water system at the house for my reef tank I use the water washing them. I can wash them in a midday Florida sun and walk away without needing to dry them, they all dry without a spot. I don't drive the Xtreme anymore, when my nephew turned 16 I gave it to him. I am about to trade my wifes 2009 LTZ Tahoe for a MB GLK 350. my first non GM car since 1988.
  5. Hi everyone I'm Joe from Tampa, Florida Here are some pictures of my 05 SS, My 2002 Z06 and my old 99 Xtreme.
  6. I haven't put a system in my SS yet here are some pictures of my Xtreme
  7. Thanks Sinr98! I removed the throttle-body and cleaned the back side I also cleaned the inside of the intake with a johnny brush since my hand didn't fit and my wife wouldn't do it for me. I also had the other cat checked, the back pressure was slightly different then the new high-flow cat the race shop installed so they changed it, now the back pressure matches the other one. As of now the problem seems to have been cured! Now time for some more upgrades!
  8. Thanks guys! Great setup [blown 346] do you run a skimmer? How long has it been setup?
  9. Thanks, but I have had to many bad experiences at the dealership for out of warranty repairs $1,700. for a steering wheel lock problem with my Z06 I fixed it for $59. $2,700 for a ABS/ Traction Control/ Active Handling problem I fixed for $150. and most recent an ABS problem with my SS they wanted $600 for a new wheel hub and I fixed for $86.00
  10. yea the Chevy dealer wanted to sell me a new wheel hub not just the ABS sensor, they told me it was all one unit and couldn't replace just the sensor, until I pulled out the GM replacement part number.
  11. One other question will the throttle body just fail or will it become less responsive over time?
  12. Thanks Sinr98 The shop replaced the bad cat with a high flow cat, they said yesterday that the other cat was still good I will have it checked again. I'll remove and clean the throttle body and the inside of the intake.
