  1. Thanks bassmaster that's exactly what it was. My right front hub bearing was bad. Its weird cause I just replaced both front hub bearings last year. I guess the O'reilly house brand bearings are crap. This time I'm gonna try the Precision brand.
  2. I know this post is a bit old but I am experiencing the same problem on my truck as well. It all started after I was towing another vehicle. Have you figured out what caused it and how did you fix it. Thanks
  3. Have you found the leak on your front differential?
  4. Finally got my transfer case fixed. I assumed that the crack was due to a hair line crack caused by the oil pump housing but what the transmission shop discovered was a hole where the C clamp holds the rear output shaft. Needless to say this hole has cost me $ 972 in parts and labor.
  5. Just to be on the safe side I am going to take it to a transmission shop first thing in the morning and see what they recommend. I'm just puzzled as to why I have a hair line crack in the case. Maybe they can provide me with a root cause analysis. My truck just hit 130,000 miles and I am running a magnacharger with stock pulley. I really don't beat on it since its my dailey driver back and forth to work truck.
  6. I just replaced the rear output shaft seal thinking it would fix my leaking transfer case only to discover that my transfer case itself has a hair line crack right where the speed sensor is. What are my options besides buying a new transfer case. Is it possible to weld the case since it's magnesium or should I just scour the junkyards for the rear case?
  7. turbo370clone thanks for giving me an idea. I just found out that on fullthrottlespeed.com they actually sell scanmasters for LS1 cars and trucks. I have one of these in my gn. Here's the link http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/itemdesc.asp+ic+050SCANLS1+eq++Tp+
  8. Thanks gmJake but those will not work for our trucks. When I spoke with the Tech's at Caspers electronics they told me those knock sensors are calibrated for grand national ecm's only. I also asked him if there was a way to rig it to make the knock guage work for our trucks and he said he wouldn't recommend it.
  9. Bump for great deal. I have one of these for my wifes Grand Cherokee SRT8 and I absolutely love it.
  10. Hey guys does any one know if they make a knock guage for our trucks. On my grand national I use a caspers knock guage. I'm just wandering if there's anything out there for our trucks.
