    GI.SS 06 SS Build

Been way too busy with customer cars. Finally got around to working on the old SSlutt. Finally got the 80e together Got some fancy cool brackets Redid my pcv setup with the Norris can. Both are Now vented to the atmosphere Got my vacuum block mounted. Most are Capped off because I do drive the truck here and there. Got the 4" thick intercooler mounted. Took a lot Of trimming new the headlight buckets to get it to fit. Got the Two Step wired and mounted. Got the meth almost all the way installed. A couple wires to still hook up. Used the washer tank to hold fluid and mounted to pump on the core support right next to the tank. Dual nozzle lines routed. Should be doing all piping soon. I'll burn in the bungs and iat sensor bung then. Going to install this bad boy with the ls9 gaskets that should be here tomorrow.

Yea I'm right there with you on the 390's. They look awesome but the wheel is no where near wide enough. I'm def going to try the 275 50 next
  9. i have a 2006 silverado and am trying to go 3 bar. HPtuners told me that the 06 pcm is not capable of handling the space that 3 bar would require. Is it possible to download a 05 OS, license and install it? Is the 2005 able to support 3 bar or 2.5? anyone else had to work around this issue? 2 bar will not be enough for what I need unless I want to make educated guesses, which I dont.

    I believe m+h makes a 275 50. This is with like a 3-5ish drop they are small more like a 27" tire. Idk if anyone makes a 30" tire in a 17"

  17. 15-20rwhp maby another mile or two a gallon.................. If you can keep your foot out of it
  18. Is that the one I told you about? I still haven't ordered mine. I'm a slacker. I'm a downpipe and fuel line/fittings away from tear down. I'm boring I know.
  19. they should be the right ones then. or atleast they SHOULD be. hopefully the new trans does what it should ....
  20. sounds like a short or a ground wire loose. replace the starter lately? one of those wires could have come loose. check any of the main ground or power wires. its probably something loose.
  21. I had to move mine to the lower grill as well. no room for the 4" intercooler. but id guess that in the rear, that fitting needed to be the longer one. if i remember ill pull my rear out and take a picture for you.
  22. i hate you and all your carbon fiber looks good art
  23. Curious, since the 80e is rear Feeding, are you running -an lines for your cooler? If you are, are you using the extended feed return fitting? Or just a regular screw in?
