Day time running lights and signal lights
nysc77 posted a topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
Hey guys I just got some new smoked headlight housings with clear reflectors. I have all white sylvania bulbs for DTR and signals, I forget the type of bulb but the bulb itself has a blue color to it but shines white when lit...silverstar maybe IDK. Anyways they are all 3157's but the DTR are A LOT brighter than the side marker and signal bulbs. Any thoughts? TIA -

Also I would get rid of the amber reflectors and go with clear. smoke the lights but dont go black with em. I did with my truck and even though its awsome looking it makes driving at night much harder.

I say do it! I LOVE the murdered look! Makes anything look like a BAD MOFO!

Hey man, sounds like Chevy maybe coming out with a new SSS in the next year or so...I could be wrong but rumors have been floating around on the net.I could be wrong but it may be something to hold out for or to look into... Just a thought...

Thanks for the thoughts/info guys. Saw a post somewhere that said the TBSS had a 454, duh on my part... Thanks again. I would like to drive a TBSS once though, I'm sure it would be fun.

Just curious on everyones thoughts on why the TBSS has a true 454 and the SSS has the 6.0 that was just the HD motor? I dont understand why Chevy would put the more powerful motor in the smaller, less popular truck. Opinions??
