  3. K guys my truck tailgate stopped opening. I have figured out that the right side bar that goes into the latch wing on the inside fell off. What I need to know if there are any tricks to get it back on with a new colored end connector with out taking the trim ring off. I have never had luck doing it and have broken several in the past on older gm trucks. Any ideas?
  4. Thanks Brad. I was hoping some one was gunna tell me whats going on with the diffrent sizes
  5. Ok guys 03 SSS AWD. I have my stock exhaust intact. I would like the Magnaflow 12469 muffler 18" dual in dual out 3" pipes. What my question is how do you get this to match up with our pipes. I have read so far that our stock pipes that run into our mufflers are just shy of 2.75" outside dia. so I figured that can just slide into the new magnaflow and band clamp it down. but the rear section of exhaust i have researched and come with retaining the sock pipe and exit are infact 3.5". how would i get that to match and retain the stock rear pipe and tip and utalizethe rear hanger as well? I also do not have axcess to a welder. I am open to any sugestions just dont have the coin to do a whole exhaust. I have no reason to belive that this will increase performance just want the louder sound and my stock pipes flow just fine. i also have no big future plans for headers yet.
  6. Just took mine in 2hrs ago explaind what it was doing ...ie groaning and whine then on let off and he knew exactly what to do said can do it for less than 800....so lets see when I go pick her up.
  7. I have this same problem as you described....idk if anyone else can chime in but is there any more performance parts I can replace these with?

  10. looks like alot of time man good work...couldnt help but notice you have had lot of diffrent wheels on that thing.
  11. No I have not. Just take off the wheel and visually look for cracks on the rubber on the front axle shaft?

  13. i had that same thing on my 02 1500 5.3L and it happend after i washed the engine bay. i had replaced the sensor you have to take the intake manifold off and they are in the valley i assume thats its the same on the 6.0. havent had to take it apart yet. If i recall the sensor isnt that much. just becareful when you take the old on out i broke the stud and the clip n the old one when i took it out.

  15. Was doing it before and after. It does not do it on turns at all doesnt change with speed either still the same constant sound,
  16. Also forgot i have already replace my front diff fluid in summer with mobil 1 to proper specs. no big metal chunks or anything outside of the ordinary.
  17. Ok guys need some help i just replaced both front wheel bearings with Moog full unit brearings and abs sensors in them. I have a slow grinding sound that comes from the front axle area more on the driver side i guess cause thats the only side i sit on. I can drive 25 mph on a smooth road and it wont do it under coasting conditions but i barely touch the throttle and to keep a constant slow speed no speed diffrence it grinds low sounding and seems like its round and round like repetitive. same at like 30 mph and 45mph and its not when coasting or high acceleration i guess i cant really hear it under high acc cause i hear motor and exhaust... i need help drive train guys. its an 03 no other mods 85k.
