  1. Same here. Check with Norcal SS, a member on here for a deal on these. As I recall, I think the guys name is Tony. He made contact to ensure I got the right parts for my truck, I remember being pleased with the price and the customer service. He was selling them for $225 for a full set. That has been several years ago but I'm sure he's worth checking with if you are interested in the Belltechs. Lol. No affiliation here, I just like to identify businesses that get it right. Edited for atrocious spelling and grammar.
  2. Shocks! Mine did the same until I swapped them out.
  3. Sorry I can't assist you here, but I am curious if this swap met your expectations? I've been considering this too but there is little feedback from anyone who has done it. These truck's brakes are so poor. This looks like it could be another economical way to improve them. The most popular one is the hydro-boost swap.
  4. Dcairns, the napa set is also a Dorman product. For $140 bucks it was the best value I could find. There may be better lines available, but I can't find a single fault with these other than the situation with the one piece front right one being a challenge to install. That said, I'm only 3/4 done with the install. Take that into consideration.
  5. They are indeed stainless steel. I have a mostly positive opinion of the napa lines, especially after seeing the prices for them through other vendors.
  6. dcairns, I had the same experience. The line leading to the rear axle is what blew on mine. May I ask / recommend you report it? Maybe with enough volume, GM will react to this before someone gets hurt. https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/? Johnny, I installed that front right line today with the NAPA set I had mentioned in another thread. It is the one piece that goes the distance. While I managed to make it go, if I had to do it again I would cut the line and add a union. Once I finish up the install I'll give a more detailed description of the experience on that thread. But for anyone who cares to know, I agree that one should have a union, preferably just behind the radiator.
  7. These make my heart hurt. Then my eyes.
  8. I'm just going to put this right here. http://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/UBK9190101/UBK9190101_0499887469 I have not installed them yet. I'll report back once I do. They are just the stainless steel hard lines; no hose here.
  9. I rescued this truck from PA, but the damage is done on the brake and fuel lines. I'm researching it now to replace and upgrade the brakes, which leads me down the rabbit hole. I don't drive it much so I can take my time. Which is good, cos I still feel the sting from the jet-hotted ARH headers.
  10. I was admiring the corrosion on mine today. Now I see LoneSStar's post. This doesn't inspire confidence in the factory lines at all.
  11. Tony sold me some Beltechs last year. They definitely made a difference on mine.
  12. I'm interested in the gas door and mounting hardware if this is still available.
  13. Same here. I just installed a set on Thursday, and immediately saw the difference. Tony checked in to help ensure I got the right ones. I received them on the east coast in 5 days.
