Looks good homie. I gotta pick up some brackets and hang my fuel lines. The cooler lines look good! Now hurry up and get some new track times. Very interested to see your 60ft difference with the new gears. You're going to be deep into the 11s for sure. You got a smaller pulley to compliment the new fuel system right?
  2. Called em up this morning. The smallest they have is 18g... Gaaaayyyyy
  3. Thanks Brian. Quite a bit to do yet. But I'll get her done. kcocofodla Fo Lyfe!
  4. Ok. I'll give em a call tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll get lucky. Thanks Justin. We'll have to do some wrenching on your truck once life slows down a little bit. I know things have been hectic lately.. Yeah. I've been keeping an eye out. We don't ever replace entire harnesses though.. I'll snag a harness if I ever get the opportunity.
  5. Where is that? Lol! They open Saturdays?
  6. Well, after calling/driving all around town, no one has 20g wire... Wtf.. I had a Napa say "Yeah. Come on down. We have 20g wire in all colors. Good polar wire. High dollar stuff". I drive over and all they have is 18g... Idiot.. So I guess I gotta order 35ft or so in every color I can think of. And of course some nice Techflex split loom of all diameters... Looks like i should have planned this out a little better. Won't be doing much wiring this weekend... I guess I could slap the trans in... If I could find a trans floor jack. That 80 is a heavy SOB. Used to be able to do the 65 by resting it on my chest... The 80 is a completely different story. I leave for Portland Sunday morning. Will be there until Tuesday afternoon. Maybe I can buy some wire there and accomplish something when I get back.
  7. Ive heard MSD coils are shit for the LS... And MSD ignition boxes went out in the 90s.... Im not even a big fan of their wires.. And now this eye sore of an intake.... Maybe they're getting desperate to keep the MSD franchise alive so their branching out

  9. Yeah. And $1K price tag..... Not so sure. I still think it's hideous. Lol

Forward them bitches to me!!! Hopefully I'll have an identical set at the end of summer.
  11. Must have missed this one... Sorry for the double post.
  12. And come to find out, Summit Racing has a credit card.... Hmm.. I might have to get me one of those...
  13. Got my new issue of Summit racing, and MSD makes an intake now for LS motors called the "AIRFORCE"... Its ugly as all hell.... Ill have to look into it. See what kind of numbers its producing.. http://markenperformance.com/n-10960-msd-atomic-air-force-intake-for-the-ls-lt1.html
  14. What are your plans for the motor? So you're waiting for your 80e to come in?
  15. I got a little scrutiny for putting my FPR behind the TVS... My buddy came across this and we got a laugh out of it. 1969 Camaro in Hot Rod Magazine, with the FPR mounted right behind the TVS. Kinda neat

My DD ran like shit when I bought it. Got it for cheap and limped it home to fix it up. Had multiple misfire, fuel trims way off, and idled like crap. Took a brake clean can and sprayed around intake, throttle body, etc. When I sprayed near throttle body it'd stumble really bad. Replaced the gasket, and reset KAM. Fuel trims were much better and it idles awesome now. Just an idea. I'll keep brainstorming. Haha

How does it idle? Maybe vacuum leak? Unmetered air could cause it to run lean, and it could be dumping fuel to compensate?

Hmm... Fuel trims are off... Burnt valves... Running pig rich... I assume fuel fouled plugs.. All on the same bank... I'd throw a oxygen sensor at it. The sensor may be crap, thinking you're lean, so it's over fueling to compensate. You could swap the front sensors left to right and see if the misfires follow to the other bank? Or just throw a known good one in and see how she runs. I don't care for "shotgunning" parts at a truck hoping to fix the problem.. But without running the proper diagnostics myself, that's all I can suggest. And I think you might get lucky. If the "Bank 2 sensor 1" O2 sensor fixes the issue, then I'd go through and put fresh plugs in it. Cuz like I said, I'm sure they're fouled out.
  19. I'll use the braided fabric loom you mentioned. I had a bunch of super 88 at the house and just decided to get a head start.
  20. Yeah. See the packing blankets under the garage door?... I tried chipping a path for it to drain out of the driveway, but it keeps freezing and backing up and flooding into the garage. It's back to being -20 here. So the packing blanket is a giant ice block. But the garage it warm... Started my wire tuck today... Let the fun... BEGIN!!
  21. For $2k, just get her rebuilt up with stock guts and a nice cam. Should be a quick turn around.
