An easy test is to find a buddy with a full size GM Truck or SUV from 03-06 or 07 classic and put the gauge cluster in your truck. See if you still have the problem.

mine went out to 0 and started working a couple times then went out an said low oil press. Got a new one 2 months later same thing..so i just unplugged it cause it kept beeping low oil press.

Got a bud who's always done it that way. Lots of stuff marked down trying to move it.

Yeah. It is. But, I still have to have it painted when it gets here.

They usually paint before they ship so all you have to do it put it on. But since it's got such a long journey, they recommended that they just primer it and then have it painted when it gets here. Just so it's not all scratched and dented when it arrives.

Haha that's actually where I plan to get most of my funds from. The plan is to buy my buddy's silverado that has no motor or trans. Drop my powertrain in it and sell it for just over book. So with a 12K profit margin, and an SS that needs a new powertrain, I'll be able to build what I should have built the first time. Lol. I've got john guiding me on this one and I'll have zippy come aboard once I get into cam/head specifics and tuning. So stoked.

Yeah. Our nearest track is 360 miles away! You have to flatbed your truck down and back just to be safe. It would suck to drive that far and have something break at the track. Haha it'd be a $3,000 tow bill home! But supposedly one is being built next summer just 15mi from my house!!!
